We started with the Mignulata, lovely with roasted cauliflower and the subtly spicy LAMP sausage. The roasted mushroom pizza was delicious with the just-right wood-fired crust and a nice garlicky touch. We added cooked prosciutto but next time, would consider leaving off the prosciutto to enjoy more of the flavor of the mushroom. Finishing off with the affogato was perfect! Come early, this is a popular spot!

This will probably surprise most, as always, the back of the house is near perfection, the front of the house not so much. I have frequented Lamp since 2011and enjoyed every visit until the last two. From a bartender demeaning Scottsdale patron's as cheap and not big tippers (on takeout orders) to a hostess insisting to seat two people in what they think is a two top that can't fit two pizza's and a bottle of wine. But to surpass this missive, our most recent server, in less than 15 seconds after seating or so, managed to insult my guest and told me I should have been ready to order because I probably have been there before. I politely asked her for more time, but then she decided to leave us unserved. From over served, if there is such a term, to under served. Having enough of these antics, I approached Matt, the proprietor, who immediately replaced the server with the attitude. A great run, with spectacular food, but bad mindsets and uncomfortable seating, (people were actually bringing their own cushions for the overtly uncomfortable seats) has made me reluctantly decide my days at Lamp have ended.

The pizza was excellent. Their Lamp sausage was the best I've had since moving to the valley 40 years ago. Do yourself a favor and indulge yourself soon!!!

The pizza had a lot of toppings which was great but it was a bit too charred. The server was friendly, helpful and attentive. It was very noisy but that was the result of the building. Would go back if I was in the area but would not travel to go to the

Just moving to the greater Phoenix area, this has quickly become our pizza hangout. The pizza is some of the best I've ever had. The rest of items, especially the starters may need a little help or love. Salads need salt and acid. But the pizza more than makes up for the starters shortfall. Gelato is great at dessert a few more options would great.

One of our favorite valley pizza spots - but also great Italian fare as well. And we're big pizza and Italian fans, so we try a lot of places.

Those zucchini cakes really are fabulous! Grape Gorgonzola salad was fresh and yummy. The Rapini was just as reviewed by others, amazing. That bitter with the pine nuts is fantastic. We also ordered the Gem and you can taste the quality of ingredients. And we finished with sharing some marshmallow shakes. Oh my goodness delicious! We loved it all

The hype around LAMP is craaaazy! But after trying it, I get it. The neighborhood goes crazy for LAMP, so much so that if you want to place an order to-go, you have to call right when they open at 4pm to be able to pick-up your pizza between 6 and 7pm. I gotta say though, it's worth it! The pizza is thin neapolitan style that's cooked in a wood oven. The top gets bubbly and crispy, but the base can be a little floppy. The scientist was probably my favorite that we tried! It's made with three different kinds of salami and green olives. It added the perfect spicy and salty element to the pizza. A close second was the stacy's mom - this is a white pizza topped with garlic, ricotta, and spicy salami. So creamy but still light! Keep in mind, the pizzas are on the smaller side, plus with being so thin, you might want to add one extra za to your usual order! I will definitely be ordering from LAMP again next time I'm in Arizona!

The pizzas are solid, but if you're planning on ordering a couple to be picked up, be prepared for it to take them over two hours! Same with going in and not being able to get a reservation. The wait time just to get a table can easily be an hour or longer. I guess it's nice to be popular, but they make it hard to get a meal. The staff also almost seems used to disappointing people with extremely long delays and more aloof than one would like. I probably won't give them a third chance to give them my money. Their product just isn't worth the wait.
