We really enjoyed our time here. The server was amazing and explained every detail. They stayed open for us even tho they were closed and I enjoyed my birthday tasting there. Even bought a bottle which was kind of pricey.
LDV is an amazing spot. We got here slightly after closing, unknowingly, and were welcomed with so much knowledge and kindness. This place is passionate and knowledgeable about wine and the area. Alyssa is the star of the show.
Very comfortable atmosphere. Staff is attentive but not overbearing or trying to push bottle sales like other tasting rooms near by. Good place for a couple quick glasses
It's is a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with fabulous wines from AZ. Great place to meet friends!
Enjoyed a few flights and really good sangria! Great hospitality from Lisa and cute patio with shade to enjoy the wines.
Victor was great and the wines were amazing!
Place was ok, outside seating available so you are able to people watch folks on the street. We got the robust red flight, all 3 had a good flavor, although the 2015 Sky Island Petite Sirah was our least favorite, and had a LOT of sediment in the pour we received. Our favorite was the 2016 Petite Sirah, which we have a slight nod to over the 2016 "The Signature" Petite Sirah.
Location is prime. The wines are pleasant, if unremarkable, but the experience is overall very basic, even primitive. They can’t even get you a glass of sparkling water, or even club soda. This photo is how they serve tap water. They need to up their game. By quite a lot.
5 Stars. We love LDV's wines. A relaxing day in Cochise County's Wine Country :).
Victor, Liza, and Deanna were so helpful! Victor is very new to being a wine concierge but he is still very knowledgeable and fun to chat with. The staff did a great job taking care of us; they had fantastic recommendations and the pours in our tasting flight were well spaced-out. The wines were delicious! My favorite was the 2016 signature petite Syrah. The outdoor seating is very nice, but a little loud from the street and the pedal-bike-bars. The location is great! Lots of shops nearby to walk to and restaurants as well!

Fantastic wine! Curt and Peggy are great.
Friendly staff and excellent wine.
Our group of 6 was disappointed in the wine tastings- we actually all left some wine in our glasses. The staff was friendly, but unfortunately we waited a very long time for service and our bill. Had we enjoyed our wines, we would have had a different experience. For the cost, the service, and the quality/taste of the wines, we would not return.
My wife and I first learned of LDV Winery at the DC Steakhouse in Chandler in 2021. We had stopped in for a meal and ordered the only petite sirah on the wine list. They brought out the 2014 LDV Signature Petite Sirah, which was delicious. Since it was 7 years old, I asked the server if they had to pull it out of a corner and clean the dust from the bottle. They told me it had been delivered to the restaurant only a month earlier. Since it was so tasty, my wife and I decided to seek out a tasting room that carried the LDV wines. We found the winery’s tasting room in downtown Scottsdale right away.Visiting that tasting room, we found that the wines that were in release were all several years old. Curt and Peggy’s philosophy is to age their wines at the winery and release them when they are ready to drink. From the time of release, the wines will last several more years, if handled with care. Unlike many wineries, LDV wines are made to improve with age and the winery starts the aging by holding on to the wines until they are ready to drink. We also joined the wine club at the tasting room, for the steady supply of excellent wine and the special events. Most recently, we attended a food and wine pairing event, where Peggy prepared several small plates for the attendees and described the recipe, preparation, and how the paired wine was chosen. The food was delicious and the paired wines went with each dish perfectly! If you are in the Scottsdale neighborhood, I highly recommend visiting the tasting room.
Upon arrival we went to the bar. We were given two menus and asked to step to the end of the bar. Then told to find a table . It’s a small cozy place so we choose a couch off to the corner. Reason for the 3 star is we asked two separate waiters (ours and the only other waiter) for a charcuterie tray. Both said yes and both never brought it. 1 1/2 in we decided to leave for dinner.
The wine was just ok. We both ordered a wine tasting and both of us said it was just ok. At the bottom of one of my wine glasses there was so much sediment it looked like mud. Again, the wine is just ok. Experience just ok and maybe even dismissive. We were glad we tried it once but not my top places to visit. Take care!
