The wines here aren't just made; they're nurtured. You can taste the sunshine, the earth, and the gentle touch of a thoughtful hand in every drop. There was a moment when I was tasting a particular red and I swear, I could picture tiny gnomes toiling away in a vineyard, tending to the vines with care and a bit of magic.
Every pour felt like a discovery, each aroma a forgotten memory brought back to life. This is what wine is meant to be—a heartfelt, honest expression of time, place, and passion. If you're looking for an experience that will delight your palate and warm your soul, you must visit. It's truly a one-of-a-kind place that makes you believe in a little bit of magic.
Today, my friend and I had the pleasure of immersing ourselves in the Le Nez du Vin experience, affectionately described as “aromatherapy for wine lovers”, at LDV Winery Tasting Room while visiting in Scottsdale and what a deliciously educational afternoon it turned out to be! Hosted in an intimate, welcoming setting, this tasting went far beyond the typical swirl-and-sip. Peggy, one of the owners, was our guide for the day, and her expertise brought the experience to life! With warmth and depth, she walked us through the story of LDV Winery, the unique characteristics of their vineyard, and the complex notes woven into their red and white wine selections. We explored how aroma, flavor, and food pairing can elevate wine from simply good to truly memorable. It was like unlocking a new language of flavor, one sip at a time. This is the kind of experience that lingers in the best way. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just beginning your tasting journey, the Le Nez du Vin experience is a beautiful way to deepen your appreciation. Perfect for couples, friends, or a small group looking to share something special and memorable. Highly recommended!
We had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Susan during our visit, and she truly made the experience unforgettable. Her knowledge of the wines was incredible—she guided us through the selections with such expertise and passion that it elevated the entire tasting. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guest experience and takes pride in what she does. Susan created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and her recommendations were spot on. Truly a lovely woman and a real asset to the team. We left feeling happy, relaxed, and even more in love with wine. Thank you, Susan!
Great service and wine
Amazing the owner is a wine nerd 🤓
I experienced the worst customer service to date from Sheryl the front room manager.
My fiancé and I while walking around downtown Scottsdale decided to stop by and enjoy a tasting. From the moment we walked in .. the look of distaste on Sheryl’s face was evident .. however .. Grace right? I’ve been a server and although there was only one other table there who knows how the hour prior was. So we decided to stay and enjoy our engagement vacation. After getting our wine and meat and cheese board and witnessing the pleasure in which she attended to other tables I decided .. well let me get the bill and a box and just leave because why stay where you’re not welcome. Sheryl then gives me a dirty Tupperware container .. yes .. a stained dirty Tupperware container box to put my appetizer in which I refused and decided we’re just going to go. She then threatens to call the police on my fiancé and I for eating and refusing to pay. Which is the furthest from the truth. How do you offer a paying customer a stained and used container? I have never in all my years been so disgusted with an establishments service. I called the owner Peggy and she apologized.
Attached are some photos of the meal.
Very cute and cozy establishment
The couple that was seated when we arrived raved about the boards however we didn’t even get a chance to taste it. All in all if you decide to go .. pray you encounter a different circumstance.
This was my wife and mine’s first time at LDV. We were blown away with the impeccable service from Sheryl and the amazing wines. There was however a controversial situation that Sheryl handled very well and professionally. Despite her multiple attempts to diffuse the situation, this person left without paying. Overall the wine was amazing, the ambiance was perfect and the service was incredible. We will be back soon.
I took my girls (mom and two daughters) here for the Scottsdale Wine Trail. Natalie was our sommelier and was absolutely amazing. She made our experience so much better! She was super professional and helped us to understand what we were selecting. Will definitely come back!!’ Get the Passport! You won’t he disappointed.
We had a beautiful time on the patio at LDV Winery. We bought two bottles of wine. Each bottle was less than $30, but were delicious. We enjoyed a glass at the winery to enjoy the early evening hustle of Old Town. The Rhyolite Viognier was delicious. The 2015 Petite Syrah was good. The service was excellent.
We really enjoyed our time here. The server was amazing and explained every detail. They stayed open for us even tho they were closed and I enjoyed my birthday tasting there. Even bought a bottle which was kind of pricey.

LDV is an amazing spot. We got here slightly after closing, unknowingly, and were welcomed with so much knowledge and kindness. This place is passionate and knowledgeable about wine and the area. Alyssa is the star of the show.
Very comfortable atmosphere. Staff is attentive but not overbearing or trying to push bottle sales like other tasting rooms near by. Good place for a couple quick glasses
It's is a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with fabulous wines from AZ. Great place to meet friends!
Enjoyed a few flights and really good sangria! Great hospitality from Lisa and cute patio with shade to enjoy the wines.
