Busy place. Had a basic hamburger which was really poor: a stale, cold bun, and the burger patty tasted and liked like it was precooked then quickly reheated. Dry and barely warm. Told bartender and he quickly gave me another option and said it would be on him - it wasn’t. He comped me a beer, but charged for the order of wings I got as replacement. These weren’t good either: really dried out, not tender, not very good size either (for $17!!!) A lot of staff (three additional), checked on me that I was happy, so I can report genuine concern over guest satisfaction. But the food is just not very good quality.

Yummy! We did a to go order and brought the food home. The BBQ platter was really good, we really enjoyed all the meats! Chocolate torte and apple pie were great to go! The shrimp was delicious already so I bet getting the shrimp in restaurant, they would have been so much better! The corn bread was a little dry which was sad but overall I would eat here again.

I've recently moved to the area from the PNW and wanted to try out this local place not too far from the Boulders. It was very nice, loved the front patio and sat at the bar. I love a good brisket and it was good. Mac n cheese ok, kinda watery with not much flavor. Cole slaw OK. Both sides needed a bit of a 'kick'.All employees very nice yet one bar woman with long red hair, very lovely, was really aloof. I tried to engage in a conversation about the pacific nw where we were both from yet she wasn't having it. We'll still be back but won't engage with her again. Not sure what her deal was.

I had the brisket sandwich with gluten free bun. Brisket tasted bland and the bun was cool. The slaw was unique in a bad way. Kitchen was slow, probably because they were busy.The service was great though. The hostess was quick and very nice. My server was good. They were very busy and made sure that someone was there to move things along even when my server was overloaded. If the other menu items taste better than the brisket, this place may be great.

We left Poppy's office we are headed home but we looked to her right and saw there was a few seats available outside at Liberty Station! The wife and I split the large brisket plate with green chili mac and cheese and cornbread. It was nice I split it up for us.And apparently for some reason I wanted espresso martini! Great drink bartender made it absolutely perfect.My favorite part of the night was watching my wife see Tom Chambers walking in right as we we're leaving! You always got to like seeing one of Phoenix Suns best basketball players a iconic man and just a damn good time.
The reviews and ratings brought us in but the food quality will not bring us back.

Great bbq and cocktails, helpful service and a cool interior. I don't think i'll be trying another bbq old fashioned but that one's on me, curiosity killed the cat. Would recommend the Prime Rib Dip, like a beef and cheddar on delicious steroids.
