Liberty Station - DC Ranch

We visited Liberty Station for an early dinner, so took advantage of the Happy Hour specials during this visit. The Happy Hour wine, craft beer and food items were a very good value. The burger with fries, and quesadilla, were nice large portions with fresh ingredients. The shrimp tacos, not a special, were a bit pricey at $16 for 3 small street tacos with 2 shrimp in each, and no side. The service was decent and the setting was comfortable.

Our experience with Liberty Station was outstanding. The food was fabulous, our waitress was kind and attentive and the milieu was great! I would definitely return if visiting Scottsdale again!

Great place with a neighborhood feel! BBQ is delicious and portions are generous. Staff is always friendly!

I haven't been to liberty Station in quite a while. Lovely location (DC Ranch), food was outstanding as was the service.

The brisket sandwich was more like a roast beef sandwich that sat on the warmer too long. Dry and tasteless. My wife enjoyed the pulled pork tacos.

Lunch was good. Atmosphere was nice . Love D C Ranch. Food came quickly. Server was ok. He did his job. Wouldn't say he was overly friendly but was ok.

Ordered a blackened chicken sandwich that was tough as leather. Thought maybe it would get alittle more moist as I took more bites, but NO! I told the waitress it was like biting into a leather shoe, and the manager ended up comping my glass of cheep happy hour house wine instead of my meal!!! In addition to this… I witnessed a worker (maybe manager/owner -plan clothes) folding many paper linings that he woukd place/fit into the little metal french fry bucket with his bare hands! (The cooks scoop the fries you eat into these.) He made several trips around to other areas, touching counters, tablets, drawers etc.. and then back to folding and inserting paper liners. No sign of sterilizing/washing his hands. In addition to all this… waitresses are delivery glasses by the top rim of the glass that customers drink from!!! The handling them by the bottom!!!

First off I would like to state that everyone working here is friendly and does a great job. Other then that have nothing good to say. Why this place has 4.5 baffles me. The brisket was over cooked the "grilled salmon" came smoothered in effing bbq sauce?!? I wiped the bbq sauce off to discover two knife or spatula cuts through my 30$ fillet (someones attempt at making sure it was cooked "medium well") they cant even make decent cornbread. Like come on guys for that much money yall need some better "chefs". Sorry but for the price point and that rating I thought I was gonna get a killer meal.

Ordered a Diet Coke , got a flat one , no CO2, ordered the tots and Brussel sprouts , the tots were heavy , thick grease balls. No flavor at all BORING , The sprouts were ok. I ordered the bbq brisket sandwich, I got a teaspoon of bbq sauce on the bun, none on the brisket, I asked for a side of bbq , was expecting bbq since it's called bbq brisket sandwich, the meat was fatty and oily , I can't get the taste of fat and grease out of my mouth. My friends had fish and chips and shrimp poor boy , they loved theirs. Very disappointed in my meal , definitely won't return, Server was fabulous though. First and last time there.

We like the location and most of the food. My order of pulled pork was disappointing as it totally soaked the bun. A different firmer bread may address that problem. Don't care for the french fries.

I have,many times,dined on the trout.The portion appeared to be half of the fish and in the past was the whole trout for the same price.It was presented as heap of food,not very attractive,the green beans piled on top of the trout filet,piled on top of potatoes that could have been roasted more...I ate it without complaining but would not order it again.Disappointing. Would not recommend it for fish,perhaps for the eat dishes which looked attractive
