The owner is NASTY!!! We complained in a prior review and he sent us a threatening response. Our waitress was mean, and the food was disgusting. Panda is cheaper and they aren’t nearly as rudeeee
I had a really good experience at Ling’s Wok Shop. I was in for a take-out order and while I was there, I had the pleasure of meeting the store manager, Vito. He ensured that everything was perfect. Everyone was really kind and the atmosphere was really welcoming. This is a fantastic family oriented business and best of all my food tasted amazing!

I used to love Lings… I’m not sure who gets rid of their servers and turns a “restaurant” into a Chipotle style counter service togo in Grayhawk… I won’t be back until you have servers to serve your tables in a restaurant in Grayhawk. Good luck!

First of all, the order came with Uber eats didn’t include utensils. I cannot eat it at hotel room. I ordered seafood hot pot with brown rice. At beginning I thought the brown rice was missed. Later I found it was soaked in soup for the entire hour for delivery, gross and yuk. I never had any soup order with rice to dump together into package. The whole dish has 4 shrimps and little bit salmon for $20 with soggy rice, disgusting. I threw the dish away.

What a treasure of a find! While traveling through Scottsdale I found this quaint spot. The food is done to perfection with delicate seasoned sauce keeping the vegetables only slightly crisp. The chicken is tender/ juicy. The staff is friendly & helpful when trying to choose from the menu. My only complaint is that it's 5 hours from my home BUT when I come back to the area, Ling's will be a stop. I had the Buddha's Belly 😍

Did not eat here. Was all excited to finally after a year of living here we were going to try kings wok shop and couldn’t wait!
Negative - you can not make reservations online and in today’s world is a must to be able to do that !
Negative - it is now a QSR style restaurant where you have to order your food and pay upfront and go sit down? Nope we don’t go for this very reason we wanted to sit with our guess and talk and order drinks and have people serve us this is why we go out to dinner but if we have to do the work it is not worth it might as well go to a fast food place.
Not sure how the food is and heard it is good but with this new Quick Serve Restaurant we won’t be there . We are newly retired we are not in a rush to get in and get out we want to spend money on food and drinks and have conversations with friends

In town for the weekend to see some friends and dropped by Ling’s on a Sunday. The Manager Vito and our bartender Shelby took care of us and our kids in spectacular fashion tonight during our reunion dinner with some friends. Alan the Chef of our experience absolutely knocked it out of the park with our meal. First of all, everyone needs to try the edamame and lettuce wraps. Everything from the Kung Pao New York strip to the Orange Chicken and famous Hot Pot were cooked to perfection. The drinks Shelby prepared for us all were out of this world!! Great shots and great vibes were also had in abundance thanks to the crew here. We can’t wait to return as this is one of our new favorite spots in AZ!!
Kid-friendliness: Great kids menus and desert options. Super friendly environment and the owner was great with our kiddos!

Make sure you try the fried rice! It is great! This was our first time here today and it was really good! Was packed at 2:00 on a Thursday so I’m not the only one who thinks so…enjoy!

Ling's provides Asian cuisine, filtered for Americans, similar to Chipotle and Mexican cuisine. I ordered, egg fried rice with tofu and an Asian cabbage salad.
I liked my dish and thought it had a different flavor from other fried rice dishes. The flavor was very subtle and could easily be overpowered with Siracha or soy sauce. It was also very good the next day. For a different opinion, read Sunita Maharaj-Vidal's review.
I also had the cabbage salad. While the flavors were nice, the dressing was sweet enough to use on a dessert. For me it was close to off putting, even though the salad was nicely made.
They have a full bar which was well attended while I was there.
Parking: The restaurant is at the end of a strip mall. There is oodles of parking right close to the door.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the first floor of a modern strip mall. They also have outdoor seating for even easier accessibility.
