This is a lovely little restaurant tucked away on North St in the Scottsdale Quarter. Delicious food, reasonable prices, good service. Would definitely come back again. We had the Korean fried chicken and Fried Rice with pork, beef, and chicken. Both were so good! The fried rice was the best I have ever had, and I had a Korean friend who used to make it for me. Don't let the quiet, understated environment put you off because you would miss a great meal!

For the few times that I’m here the restaurant staff is soo lovely!!! they always treat me right and have nice conversations since it’s family owned they give out the best recommendations on what you should order. I take extra home because I’m a meat lover! Good portions too and they always ask if you need anymore food. Makes me feel right at home if im honest ??!!!Please go and have dine here!! Briskets are to die for!!

They have PEKING DUCK AND CRISPY SKIN PORK!!! Make sure you call ahead to order! But they’re great! They do some American fusion Chinese dishes as well. But I was very happy with the char siu pork and even the sesame orange chicken. I love how they just combined sesame chicken and orange chicken to make my decision easier. Staff was very friendly and the place is clean and modern.

We celebrated my daughter’s 15th birthday here. The food far exceeded expectations and Liz created a memorable night for my daughter by taking good care of us and threw in some extra appetizers, drinks and even fresh baked cookies in the house. We will definitely be back!

Uhhhh.. this place is TERRIBLE. The website is very very misleading!! We had never been and ordered $70 worth of takeout. Aside from our order taking 20 min longer than stated, the place was dirty, everything we ordered was severely overcooked/burnt, low quality ingredients, absolutely no flavor, and zero love put into their dishes. I can’t believe there are people (actually I can) that give this place 5 stars. Sorry but NO WAY. I wish I had taken photos of it all to post but I just threw it all away after two bites. $70 down the drain.. yay!

This place was awesome. The homemade hot sauce was the perfect balance of flavor and heat. The fried rice was amazing, we loved the pineapple soda. The pork char siu steamed buns we're so good my wife bit her cheek trying to eat it ?. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends and co-workers. Can't wait to come back.

Liz Modern Asian is the perfect spot to enjoy lunch/dinner in North Scottsdale! The outdoor seating is perfect and the food is delicious. Would highly recommend the steamed buns (BBQ brisket for sure), they are unreal! Staff is also extremely kind and helpful! We will be back :)
