This was my second time coming here, and unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed. The music was extremely loud, making it nearly impossible to work or even read a book. I purchased a raw, freshly squeezed beet/carrot/pineapple juice, and shortly after drinking it, I became very nauseous and sick. The juice was stored in a small fridge and had a warning label stating it may be unsafe for children and the elderly and could cause illness. This raises serious concerns about how it’s being stored and served. Definitely avoid the fresh-squeezed juices they offer for sale.

I want so badly to give this place a 5 because the coffee is absolutely delicious. The sitting arrangements are not pleasant and the pink chairs lining the wall do not make sense, as I have to keep turning my head to talk to my companion. Think the place needs major updates to accommodate more people.

Great morning bun with orange zest. Salted caramel latte was delicious.

Pastries were great! Good coffee. The wait for the sandwich was a bit lengthy but overall good experience

This place is so hip it hurts. I wish they would come back to Flagstaff. I have the perfect space for them 🩷

This would have been a 5 star except when I went back I noticed the flies all over the pastries. They have to do something about it. It’s an easy fix. Just cover up the pastries. A simple glass cover over each pastry dish. I know so many people who stopped going because of flies. I hope they fix it. I would love to go back when they do.

Best pastries and espresso in the valley by far! Baked goods made on site fresh daily by pastry chefs. Croissants are incredible! Delicious, healthy food! Extremely kind and sweet employees! Trendy and fun decor...

Best coffee in the area ! Totally wild place. Couches feel like a towel that’s never been washed.

BEWARE:

Decided to stop in and grab an iced coffee & breakfast burrito before work. I went in excited as it was my first time visiting this location. But unfortunately I was met with the least personable, shrewd and unhelpful host at the register. I don't understand.
After I ordered I didn't know exactly how the system worked to retrieve my order, as I decided to sit down. I asked the host and she said they would call my name.

They ended up calling my name for the coffee. But I had to wait for the burrito, which was left on the counter without my knowledge. Everything felt off and a little nefarious.

I left and ate a quarter of my burrito and drank my coffee and started to feel very stomach sick about an hour later. It was to my surprise the symptoms were that of food poisoning! And I ended up having to leave work that day cause my illness escalated.
I called Lux to inform them/kitchen of the food poisoning. I was told by the employee who answered the phone (a woman) that the manager wasn't available, but they would leave my name and number for the manager to get in contact with me.

Not even five minutes later I get a call back and the girl I spoke with claimed she was the manager and expressed she was sorry about my experience and would refund my transaction for the inconvenience.

Well I never received the refund that I was promised.
And the whole situation seemed malice. I will never go back to this location. DO BETTER, BE BETTER

The chai was not good (extremely grainy and flavor wise uncomfortably over spiced) and they charge almost 2 dollars for alternative milk. 18 dollars for two small drinks (probably no more than 10oz) is crazy. As a chai lover and a barista for many years I cannot comprehend who tried this and thought it would be good to sell especially at that price!

Coffee always tastes amazing! Love their food and pastries! Whenever I’m in the area, I always make it a point to stop in.

Dietary restrictions: They usually have a paleo bakery item.

Weird but beautiful location. They have good coffee and breakfast. You would not know it’s a breakfast place until you go inside. There is a small sign on the Glassdoor. You can easily miss it.

Safe Fun Two

My favorite coffee shop for vegetable bean soup, hot tea, pastries and Mexican Coke/Mexican Sprite. They also serve beer!!

Take-out is my preferred way to go unless I eat outside in their side patio. Not much sunlight inside.

The staff is great. Very friendly with nice personalities. The pastries are pretty outstanding. Their bowl of vegetable soup with white beans and a side of buttered toast is the perfect lunch.

Some patrons like the artsy feel and subdued atmosphere. I prefer more contemporary, practical and natural light.

The food, drinks and service is what makes me come back. It is worth your time to try it out.

(P.S. The matcha latte is prepared for the purest community which can be quite bland for the drinker that likes sweet. If that is the case, add honey, guava or some sweetener to it.)
