This place is amazing. Our server was so helpful and congenial, the ambiance was lovely, and the pasta was the best ever. This was a very special evening and we would definitely return.

High end Italian dining, very nice, very enjoyable for our anniversary occasion. Not something I would consider for "routine" family dining out. Will go again in future. Fresh pasta presentation (not on menu) is highly suggested. Something unique for every palate IMO.

Wonderful ambiance on a Saturday evening with live vocals. If not in Italy, this is second best. Loved the special visual pasta presentation examples. So fresh and unique. All of our food, drinks and desserts were top notch. Our server was so relatable and funny. Will definitely return.

Food was subpar at best. Ordered an appetizer, a salad, and a pasta dish. Was unimpressed with every course. Server was very uneducated regarding the menu and claimed to have not yet had the opportunity to try any dishes from the restaurant to offer recommendations. Energy was incredibly weird. Best part of service was the hostess was kind enough to hold our table after being late due to poor parking. We did call to notify. Local to the area but have no intention of returning.

The best Italian restaurant in the country! Fresh ingredients, well balanced, unique, flavorful and perfectly prepared. The live music of the Italian soprano Ripalta Bufo made it an experience! Bravo!

We dined outside great relaxing spot weather was perfect. Service very slow the waiter took forever to tell us about the specials and that was a process in itself. Menu is lacking familiar dishes that people would really enjoy and like to eat. The bread to start was very dry and crumbled apart. They give you some small spread for the bread it was ok not great. Salad was a salad nothing special. Meals were good not great but good. Nothing wrong with coming here just don't expect any of your favorite Italian dishes this chef has his own menu. Again I would say come eat enjoy just don't hold expectations too high

Reservations were at 8pm. Arrived 10 mins early. Table wasn't ready so we sat at bar to get a drink. Never took our drink order then table wasn't ready ready. Waited another 30 mins before we got our drinks. Another 40 for food and we missed the event we went to Scottsdale for. Very disappointed epically for the price. Very overpriced

Our experience at Marcellino was outstanding!! So much we went back a second time before leaving town. My dish was so good that my husband got the same thing because I wouldn't share. Highly recommend this restaurant in Old Town Scottsdaleš!!

This is our first time at Marcelino, we don't need to go back. There are many better Italian restaurants in Scottsdale. Well, the food quality was good and delicious. It was highly overpriced, the service was exceptionally rushed, and once you place your order for dinner. It arrives way too fast. It is not the type of restaurant where they pace out the meal. The desserts were highly lackluster. ļæ¼
My wife and I ate at this outstanding Italian restaurant recently and it did not disappoint. We sat at the bar and had a great conversation with the chef/owner and his wife. They have been in business over 20 years and serve a variety of authentic made from scratch pastas and other dishes. It was truly a memorable night. We liked the food and atmosphere so much we made another reservation to come back on Saturday night to hear live music (the owner's wife was a professional singer) but unfortunately our plans changed and we missed the experience. It is definitely on our list to return to next time we are in Scottsdale.

Spending an evening with friends at Marcellino Ristorante is one of my favorite things! The pasta was divine, marvelous salad and perfect dessert. Excellent wine too. Saturday night with Sima and her trio was delightful, the songs romantic songs are my favorite. Arriving one immediately feels the intimate vibe and it's always fun to chat with Chef Marcellino. I look forward to my next visit.
