Had an awesome time here. Great cart girl service and very forgiving fairways.
This course was in horrible condition. We played the Pine (front 9) and Palm (front 9) as they directed us to. The explanation for playing our 18 holes this ways is they're in the middle of upgrading all holes on their property. The 18 holes we played were supposed to be the holes already updated. Wow! Would hate to see the back nine of the Pine and Palm courses because the 18 we played were some of worst fairways and tee boxes I've played on. Won't go back anytime soon.
Mother’s Day brunch every year and this year Easter too!
Conditions were really bad. Some fairways barely had grass on them, just dirt. Also
Paid $175 to play a 5.5 hour round. Would not recommend.
Old course but not bad
Played this course for an Arizona Golf Association qualifier. This is much better than what I was seeing in the reviews. The greens are in great shape. There are a few burnt out areas in the fairways, but nothing unplayable. The people complaining here are wrong about this place. There are much more worse options in the area. Long par 3s, tons of water hazards. Bunkers were in good shape. I’d play here again for fun.
Very nice staff! Nice shop and clubhouse. The course is unfortunately in pretty rough shape. The bunkers are full of green water and many of the greens are partially mud. The cart path is in need of repairs throughout the course, there are huge potholes and ditches along the whole path
I’m not sure what is up because about a year ago it was in better shape. I didn’t take pictures this time around but the recent reviews with pictures are accurate
We play in the late afternoons and pay about 60 for a round, but would not recommend paying full price for the morning slots. Even for two of us paying 130 I sort of regretted coming out
Not really sure what’s going on recently but hopefully they can sort it out
Nice course, they were doing some course maintence which made for confusion on directions and tee boxes. Quite certain will be very nice when construction is done.
The course is in horrible condition. If you are from the Great Lakes region and visiting Scottsdale for vacation, save your money. Buy yourself something nice instead. You will be extremely disappointed. We have way nicer courses in our areas for a fraction of the price McCormick is charging. Bit more to share…again, if your from OH, MI, IL, PA this course is a like your lower end public courses. This course couldn’t get $50 for 18 w/ cart in these states. Sharing to set expectations. Very disappointed in the shape of the course for the $179 they charged for an 18 hole round.
Played Pine front and Palm front. The Pine course was absolutely horrible, fairways were soaked, greens were destroyed, tee boxes were dirt. Palm was better, offering dry fairways and halfway decent greens. Staff was not very friendly, other than the starter. For the price, I would not recommend it, there are far better courses in the Scottsdale Area.

Sadly disappointed. Played here multiple times with friends before and today was the worst time playing here. Some of the greens weren’t in the best condition, bunkers and portions of the golf course were flooded, and golf cart died on hole 18. Not what I signed up for paying $180 for a tee time :(
Visited from ATL. Heard good things about this course. Small Pro Shop, not a lot of selection. Bartender messed up my drink order, but then she fixed it when I asked, so no problems. A lot of mud and rough spots on the cart path. Starters were a little rude, but not the worst I’ve had. Greens were fine. Not worth the price, played starfire the day before for a much cheaper price and enjoyed it more.
Very fun layout. Course was in ok shape. Greens putted very well. Ball didn't go in enough though
First of all I wanna make sure it is known that EVERYONE on staff was extremely friendly. But if I knew I was playing in the Sahara Desert I wouldn't have paid $130. First of all its 70 degrees outside and they have us on mats to warm up. The course has beautiful views but that doesn't help the fact that u could be in the middle of the fairway and be in a giant mud pit Kamala should be rolling around in. I played back pine and back palm courses and let me tell u it disappointed me to the maximum. The greens were rolling at about a solid 7 on the stimp which is unbelievably bad. I think everyone is better off playing in Somalia with all of the Minnesota senators watching you play. Especially for $130. I know the course is getting re-done, but seriously the quality is unacceptable.
Seems cool
