Was not impressed with the " new" show and the service was awful. Food was not horrible the chicken was actually pretty moist. The servers need to chill and not get all up on your face. The man we had was very inappropriate.

I am so happy I booked Medieval Times while we were visiting Scottsdale. We did not have to wait long to get checked in, get our crowns and then our entry picture taken. We did not have time to hangout in the hall due to us being so close to show time, so we were able to go to our seats right away. We had Queen's Royalty Upgrade so our seats were front row. You have a mug, your plate, napkin and a wet wipe at your seat. The wet wipe is to be used BEFORE you eat, to clean your hands. We did not have to wait long for the bartender to come around - they only come around 3 times during the 1.5 hours and you can only order one drink at a time. Our first course - Dragon Blood Soup (aka tomato soup) This was your standard tomato soup, pretty watery, but not bad and not great. It was fine. The garlic bread came next - standard Texas toast. You can't mess it up - buttery goodness. Once they clear those plates, the chicken comes next. You literally get half a chicken! Now, we are fans of rotisserie chicken so we were happy. Decent flavor and it was super moist! There are bones, so you are using your bare hands to pick around it. Part of the fun! My kids destroyed their birds - they loved it. Next up is potato - which is half a potato roasted. Decent enough flavor, i prefer to dip my potatoes in stomthing, so it was a little boring for me but it was fine. Last dinner item is the corn - this is a quarter of a cob slathered in butter and some seasoning. I thought it was delicious, as did my kids. My husband and sister, however, thought it was bad corn. To each their own! Last part of the meal is the eclair. Nothing special, more like a frozen one from Gordon Food. But dessert is dessert, right!? Overall review of the food - it was better than I expected. After all the reviews I had read before hand, I was prepared. We didn't go for the food but were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Now to the show - the only downside for me was the acoustics and my ability to hear the narrator and the queen. Not sure if it was just me or if that is for the whole arena, but it didn't ruin my experience. The story is easy to follow. Everyone gets to into cheering for their section's knight! My kids had a great time cheering for our color and then booing the other colors. The different "events" were great to watch - these guys have some true talent! Obviously the jousting and sword fighting were the highlight. They make it as realistic as possible with sticks that explode when they hit the other guy's shield, and sparks during the sword fights. I thought the horses were so fun to watch - the bow, dance, jump, etc. The falconer was pretty exciting, too! They keep the audience engaged but throwing flowers, giving out sashes, and the cheering and booing. They do come around and offer a few different trinkets for sale (like light up swords, flowers, and more banners) fair warning for those with kiddos. Our pictures were passed out during the show, since they were included in our tickets - they turned out cute. They also ask upfront for tips for the servers, as tip is not included in your ticket price. They give you your server's payment app details or ask for cash or card. This didn't bother me, as our server was hustling to serve each course and then clear plates in a timely manner. Plus, he was part of the opening scene! Once the show was done, we went to the souvenir booth for the kiddos. We didn't think the trinket prices were terrible, all things considered. Less than I would have assumed. Few other notable things: Cleanliness - I found the entire venue, including bathrooms, very clean. I was impressed by that. Character - EVERYONE is in character. It is fun to interact with them and how they address and speak to you. My Lord and Lady! My kids had a BLAST! I would definitely recommend it.

Vegetarian options: Menu is set so the vegetarian meal is pre set.

Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly! My 8 & 5 year olds LOVED it!

Took my 6 year old son here for Valentine’s Day with his friends and we all had a blast! The show was so much fun and the portions were huge and very tasty. We arrived an hour early as was recommended but with a full house the kids were getting restless standing around in the big crowd before getting to go in and sit down, i will show up closer to the start time next time. Everyone involved from the actors to bartenders to servers were all incredible and friendly. The horses were gorgeous and so fun to watch! Highly recommend as something fun/different to do with the kids or for a date night or friend night! You eat with your hands and not utensils so keep that in mind when dressing 😂.

We had a lot of fun!!💚

Vegetarian options: everyone gets the same thing they have the regular option which is a chicken dinner they have a vegetarian option and they have a gluten-free option but it is a three-course meal.

Parking: if you get there about 10 to 15 minutes early the parking lot is pretty much empty and you have your choice of spots

Kid-friendliness: it is really geared towards everyone but they are very helpful and thoughtful of the children

Wheelchair accessibility: there are wheelchair accessible tables but they're not as close to the arena
