Best hometown “Cheers” vibe EVER! This place is honestly a gem. Everyone knows everyone, and even if they don’t, they treat you like they do. The staff and regulars are friendly, welcoming, and make you feel right at home the second you walk in.
The food? Bomb. Every dish hits. The specialty drink menu? Dangerously good.
And yes… I’ve even spotted a few celebrity faces here 👀✨
If you want great energy, great people, and great everything, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Went on a weekday afternoon and it wasn’t busy. Ordered a tomato soup and wraps. Wraps were decent and tomato soup is extremely salty. Salad that came with it is light and delicious. Service is just ok. It’s just one person who is working and gets the job done. Highlight is the price and ambiance. It’s fantastic to sit outside especially at night. Everything is reasonably priced for a location like this. Use inKind to make it even better. Would go in again with friends and try some other items.

My ebike died here on my ride home. I wanted to spend some money on my Amex Plat card while I waited for my ride and was treated very poorly. No place to lock a $1500.00 bike and not even offered water as I was denied service.

Perfect lunch spot for locals and wage slaves in the area. Everyday a great meal special at a very low price. Enjoyed one of the best burgers I've had in years today, easily. Just solid from properly cooked to buttered/toasted buns. Great beer and wine selection. Eclectic and appetizing menu. The bartendress was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere lends itself to a fantastic intimate and chill dinner date or small group of friends. Good music to top it off. If you are local, on a date, or need a reasonably priced place for a business lunch: this is it.

Poor waitress was all by herself. Management needs to hire more people and schedule better. She did a fantastic job handling nearly 50 people by herself.
There needs to be a second runner, my waitress was also bartending and seemed to be a bit overwhelmed. She was lovely to us.

Have been visiting Metropolis for almost ten years now. Has always been a staple for a nice night out and a great place to return to after said night. The staff and ownership are fun and good people. Will continue to return.

We had friends in town from Vegas and Sun City West and ALL parties decided on Metropolis. It was amazing but the decisions were arbitrary.
The MAJOR challenge that we encountered was locating the place. We were in separate cars, traveling at separate times but had the same GPS Challenges.
Our car arrived first, so we had a chance to look around and absorb the ombience. It was a Saturday afternoon brunch and our waitress was 'HAZEL.' She was amazing throughout our long stay. Once we start talking, well, it was a while before we left but everyone employed by the restaurant remained polite and professional.
At times Metropolis became crowded and the atmosphere became more joyous.
All of us ordered different meals, so we had a chance to view, and taste, numerous preparations. The plates are large and the food was impeccable.
My wife and I plan on returning soon, so that we can have a nice meal and walk across the street to the mall to relax. We highly recommend Metropolis if you want to spend a relaxing day in Scottsdale, Arizona.
