Morton's The Steakhouse

Had our granddaughter 16th birthday 🎂 celebration staff made her feel very special Even gave her a memory photo they took there. As well as a fantastic desert Thankyou all for the fabulous dining celebration.

Delicious food, particularly the rack of lamb and creamed spinach. Excellent service too. Portions way too big - I only ate 10 percent of my dinner.

Outstanding service from Jane and Steven! Can't beat the quality of food for a steakhouse. Kudos to Chef Jared and Chef Angel. We will be back!

Today, it was all perfect. Onion soup was hot (not just the bowl as is sometimes the case). Lots of cheese. Steak cook just as well asked. The recognized our special event too

Had an amazing dining experience. Our food was fantastic, and service was phenomenal. Our server Ryan was attentive and friendly. He made sure our experience was perfect.

Excellent choice for a quick drink and bite during Happy Hour with friends. Good menu selection and reasonable prices.

Our dining experience was excellent. From the requested type of table, our server Ryan, to our scrumptious whole Maine lobsters!

I would give them 10 stars if I could. We went for Father's Day/10th Anniversary. All I can say is wow. We received rose petals on the table, personalized card and complimentary PRINTED photo. Also, a complimentary dessert. They made our night so special and set the tone. Kara, was our waitress, she was phenomenal. It was our first time there, definitely not the last. I have been telling everyone I know about my experience. Definitely worth the money for the steaks and exceptional service. I was so in the moment with my husband, I did not take a single photo. The food was Devine from start to finish.

Morton's continues to deliver their reliable steakhouse experience, even when faced with the logistical challenges of a scheduled group event. Having dined here multiple times, I can confidently say the food quality remains consistently good, though there were a few minor missteps during our recent visit.

**The Good:**
The evening's highlight was undoubtedly the **butterflied filet mignon cooked to medium-well** - a notoriously difficult request that most restaurants struggle with. Morton's kitchen executed this perfectly, delivering a tender, properly cooked steak with excellent flavor and presentation. The accompanying asparagus was fresh and perfectly prepared.

My dining companion Toni raved about the **salmon**, which featured a beautiful caramelized top and was cooked to perfection. The fish looked restaurant-quality with its golden glaze and was clearly a winner.

The **appetizer** (while not pictured) was quite tasty and set a promising tone for the meal.

**The Disappointing:**
The **Caesar salad** fell short of expectations, especially for a restaurant of Morton's caliber. With only two small croutons and a surprisingly bland dressing that lacked the punch you'd expect from a proper Caesar, it felt more like an afterthought than a carefully crafted dish.

**The Sweet Finish:**
The **dessert sampler** redeemed any earlier disappointments. The chocolate component was exceptional - rich, decadent, and perfectly executed. The variety plate with cheesecake, chocolate cup, and fresh berries provided a nice range of flavors and textures to end the meal on a high note.

**Overall:** Morton's proved once again why they're a reliable choice for group dining events. Despite the inherent challenges of timing and coordination for scheduled events, they managed to deliver properly cooked proteins and maintained their service standards. While the Caesar salad was a letdown, the expertly prepared filet and stellar dessert reminded me why Morton's remains a go-to choice for special occasions.

**Recommended for:** Group events, special occasions, and anyone seeking a dependable steakhouse experience in North Scottsdale.

Morton's Kierlands is one of our fav go to spots for a nice date night. We're regular Morton's customers because their food & service is Excellent every time we've been there. Love this place ❤️
