This place took over the old First Watch location and it did not disappoint at all. The pancake hash browns, the burgers, the BLT, absolutely phenomenal. Honestly, I am not sure what kind of magic they are cooking with back there, but everything that came out of that kitchen tasted like it was crafted by someone who genuinely loves food and wants you to be happy.
Highly recommend. Bring an appetite and maybe some self control, because once you start eating here, you are going to want everything on the menu.

The bagels here are amazing! The jalapeño cheddar bagels are my favorite, but all the flavors I have tried are delicious and consistent quality/taste every time I’ve had them. The pastrami and Rueben sandwiches are the best I’ve ever had!

So glad they opened this location! Outstanding food and service with prices so reasonable it makes this a go to. The bagels “to go” for meetings at the office really make our Monday management meetings worth showing up for.

If you're looking for an authentic slice of New York deli flavor transported to the Arizona desert, the bagels and bialys at New York Bagels 'N Bialys on Hayden Road are simply non-negotiable. These are the real deal: perfectly boiled, wonderfully chewy, and baked with that classic crust that makes a true bagel. From the everything bagel piled high with cream cheese to the satisfyingly savory bialys, the quality of the food here is consistently outstanding—the best in the Valley, arguably.
Come prepared to wait, and manage your expectations for the staff. The outstanding lox and the hearty deli sandwiches are worth the wait, but the slow service is definitely the price you pay for this East Coast perfection.

Meh. Ordered 2 bagels to go. Nothing special. Didn't eat in, but place looked depressing.

Lindsey was amazing! Best service I have had at any restaurant in ages! Great conversation, great suggestions from the menu and great service. I will be back for sure.
The food was very good! However, I'm just not a huge fan of the potatoes. I had the heaven hash Benedict. The potato pancakes were perfect and the hash was very tasty. This is a great menu item.

Amazing customer service! The manager of this location is so lovely and accommodating, he made our day! So far, these bagels are the closest we've found to New York bagels, so we are happy to have this new location so much closer to us.

Drove by on my way to the studio without knowing anything about NY BnB. Their menu certainly is extensive, and I didn’t have time to read it since it was an impulse stop. Asked the nice cashier if they had a bodega bagel, which is a NYC staple. Blank stare. That’s ok, she’s young and this is AZ. I described it, she pointed out on the menu the Egg-A-Bagel. Ding ding ding! That’s what I order, and it comes out quick!
Egg was nice. No cream cheese. My fault for not asking if it came with it [I know I know, that’s not a “pure” bodega bagel]. All in all, the bagel sammie was alright but certainly not NYC level and there are other local establishments that a better. I’ll come back to try other items and see if this can become a regular stop.

Absolutely love this place! The bagels are fresh, perfectly toasted, and have that authentic New York bite. The menu has so many great options — you can grab something simple or go all out for breakfast or lunch. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The green chile and cheese sauce are must-tries, and the potato pancakes are delicious. So happy to have a spot like this in the neighborhood. Highly recommend! 🥯💛

Stopped to try the bagels! Not impressed. The girl at the front counter was not friendly. The bagel did not taste fresh or much flavor. Ordered 2 bagels to go and took almost 10 min. Was hopeful, but will not go back. Only gave 2 stars bc the atmosphere was nice.

So glad they opened their new location on Hayden and Thompson Peak. Was really missing New York Bagels and Bialys when the Pima and Pinnacle peak location closed. Always amazing food and service, and such a better option versus JJ's that has been our only option in the Pinnacle Peak area for decades. Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch. If you are a New Yorker, you will appreciate the familiar options including potato pancakes.

I order one seseme bagel with cream cheese. When I got home I had a soggy plain bagel with nothing on it in a plastic bag. This is a sorry excuse for taking First Watch out. Utterly disappointing. I will never go back.
