Excellent cuisine for both adults and kids. Beer was well-crafted with enticing aromatics. Great experience!
Stopped by today on happy hour. I had the fried rice and my wife had the Salmon power bowl. Both dishes were delicious. Service was great as well. They distill their own alcohol, I cannot confirm if it is good or not, but their tee off cocktail is refreshing. They currently have a test menu, so items on the menu may change. Overall I think this place has a bright future and I will be returning.
This place was great. Was in town with our dog, so we looked for dog friendly places, which led us here. My pepper was feeling super protective, barking at anyone who came close, but she was at home 1 day, the next after a 12hr car ride she's in 100+ degree weather, who can blame her. Needless to say the staff was so sweet, they brought out her water bowl with her name on it, treats and there was a whole menu for her. It was a great experience, and the staff made us feel welcome even when are dog was a little gangster 🐕🦴🐶. We will definitely be back next time we're in town❤️!
Fun place. Good brew. But, food was a tad disappointing. Chicken sandwich got so messy I needed to eat it with a fork and knife.
I highly recommend visiting OHSO Brewery + Distillery in North Scottsdale. Chris, General Manager, and Timmy, Server, provided outstanding service and exceeded my expectations. The food also was fantastic.
We came to OHSO and had a great time overall. My husband and I split the AZ Burger — plenty of food for two, and really tasty. I tried the white sangria, which was refreshing and not overly sweet — a win. I didn’t care for the “Painkiller” cocktail, but the staff was super nice and happily swapped it for an espresso martini. While the martini was average, the great service made up for it.
The space itself is large, lively, and family-friendly, with a fun arcade in the back. It has a great atmosphere — casual, upbeat, and perfect for meeting friends for dinner or drinks.
Staff is so friendly. This is the companies test kitchen. The menu is great. They rotate things on the menu to try out new items from time to time. I have gotten the Salmon Power Bowl multiple times and it is fantastic. Beer and cocktails are great since they are both a distillery and brewery.
Category: Comfort food. This place has plenty going for it. First, it’s huge, both inside and out. It can also be all outside-ish when all of the garage doors and windows are open, as they were on the day of my visit. The line between in and out is blurred by the skylights, which bring sunlight into part of the high-ceilinged, steel-trussed, catwalked interior. The part of the restaurant that really is outside is shaded. If it’s hot, the ample patio misters will cool you. If it’s cool, the built-in heaters will toast you. If you want to bring your dogs, the patio welcomes them. If booths are your thing, there are plenty inside and out. If you need a big table for lots of friends (this is a great place to meet up with lots of friends), they are a-plenty too. Hightops too, which somehow make a meal seem more exciting. And if bars are your thing (we love to dine at restaurant bars), there’s a big one inside and another big one outside. The outside bar is our favorite kind, rectangular, so we can people watch across the bar. There are also plenty of TVs, just in case you can’t dine without them. For additional fun, there’s an arcade, where some adults we saw sent their kids so they could have adult fun while the kids arcaded. And to catalyze the adult fun, there are plenty of adult beverage selections. Of course there are plenty of beer selections, as OHSOs are known for. There were also enough wine selections to keep us happy, and they were almost all in our less than $50/bottle sweet spot. And if you prefer your adult beverages to be more spirited, they have a distillery too, where tours are offered (with reservations and for a price). But just in case you want to eat too, this location is unique among the OHSOs as its test kitchen. If a dish from the rotating menu makes it here, based on guest feedback, it can — as Sinatra crooned — make it anywhere and be added to the menus in other locations. I hope this is true of the Southern Sampler that my friend and I shared. With generous portions of tender brisket, pulled chicken, two large sausages, and accoutrement, it was too big not to share. Suggestion: include a small dish of the two sauces (tomato-based and mustard-based) as part of the dish, and maybe some potato salad or slaw (or both) instead of the bread. I decided to try the Test Kitchen after I had the excellent Southeast Asian Fried Rice test kitchen dish at a different OHSO, which was making a cameo appearance there. OHSOs also have a frequent flier program. We will be back, and I especially like the test kitchen idea, but I must admit that we have difficulty choosing between the three OHSOs that are roughly equidistant from our house. Maybe we’ll let the dogs decide. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice
Service is good, food is always exceptional
Food has gone way downhill. Keep coming back hoping it'll get better. The new pretzel cheese is terrible. The new fries are crap. Tried to replicate an old item and it was terrible

Paige Stanley is amazing, she greeted me very attentively and was very nice and welcoming! Immediately made me feel comfortable to eat at the restaurant! I also love the new redesign of the vegan/vegetarian menu - they really upped it and they did a good job with adding more options! Yeceli was our server and she also did a great job serving us and telling us about the menu. Great job!
Paige Sideras was also really good and attentive to our table! Thank you guys!
Recently renovated and quite possibly the best HH pricing. 32oz pitcher of beer for $8… crazy!!
Visiting from Atlanta, GA on vacation. My husband and I were famished and stopped in. The waitress, Dani O., was friendly and knowledgeable about the food and beer. We took her suggestions on every course. We had the buffalo chicken egg rolls as the appetizer which set the stage for an amazing dining experience. We then ordered the fish tacos and chicken tacos along with a caesar salad. Deliciously flavorful. To top it off, we had the warm apple pie with ice cream and a drizzle of caramel - delectable! It was cool and windy in Scottsdale this day but sat on the patio anyway. The heaters were well placed and did their job keeping us warm. I would definitely recommend this great spot. Oh and plenty of big screens to watch the game!
Came here for happy hour and the hazy IPA was awesome. Jacob our bartender was super friendly. Would absolutely come back here soon!
