OBON Sushi Bar Ramen

Great food, great service. I couldn't eating sushi while on chemo and once I got clearance from the doctor this was first stop.

Made a reservation for date night after I received a recommendation from a good friend to go here. Upon arrival the hostess was snotty and had an unpleasant attitude. She wanted to seat us in a super crowded area when the other side of the restaurant was less busy, when I asked if she could take us to the other side, she rolled her eyes. Not a good first impression and for the price of their food, I've been to other spots in the area. Super disappointed and properly wouldn't go back!

Great place....food was amazing and staff were pleasant! Manager was friendly and helpful to staff!

OBON has 2 locations. The other one is closer to us but we prefer this location. A big reason is the Edamame here is different and the sauce is amazing! So flavorful. My husband puts some of the sauce into his veggie ramen which he loves. I'm obsessed with the Bluefin Tuna Crudo. It melts in your mouth like butter and the jalapeño and cucumber give it a little pop. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is lively but the music is at the perfect level so you can still have a conversation. They have a great little patio when the weather is cooler too. Just make a reservation-it's always busy and for good reason!

O erpriced for the atmosphere. I usually don't mind inflated prices if the restaurant has a good vibe and sense of charm. Obon is Very Very casual. Lots of T shirts and shorts and ball caps. So don't plan a nice atmosphere atmosphere for a date night.

Ambiance is great, clean and modern. Food is savory. We brag about the ramen to family and friends. Made the mistake of getting fried rice and it was so salty tonight, as salty as the sea and more. Server was lovely and corrected issue. Sushi 🍣 was fantastic. Great place to go for the RAMEN! I think it’s a winner with their white mushroom broth.

I can here for happy hour where you can get a lot of things for half price! I thought I ordered 3 Nigeri and 1 eel roll but it turns out they spoil you hand give you u5 pieces of sushi with every order! Holy cow- i haven’t tasted any sushi this fresh since California. A+

The fish is definitely fresh and has a nice ambiance. If you have company with varying Ásian food preferences, this is a great option. Bao buns, full entrees, sushi & ramen on the menu gives lots to choose from. The creative drink are also a must try

Good not great overall experience. The restaurant was lively which made it slightly difficult to have a conversation. When we arrived we foolishly reserved outside seating in July but the hostess was generous enough to find us a seat inside. Other than that service was average. We ordered the trio sampler crispy rice, edamame, 3 sushi rolls and the tonkotsu ramen. The tonkotsu was the star of the show and the rest was underwhelming. We ended up having a quick 30-40 minute dinner as it was just too difficult to hold a conversation so we left. Price was decent as all the food came out to $95 before tip.

The portions are very large. We had the street noodle and original Ramen. Both were delicious.

We came in very early to enjoy our quiet meal with our dog. First time to try their rainbow poke bowl and as expected it was so good . We replaced shrimp with more yellow fin tuna. It was so creamy and fresh. Recommend everyone to try it.

Went for my birthday dinner and was very disappointed. Service was slow. Calamari was terrible very rubbery. Will not visit there again🙃

Very lively and always a great time coming out tomorrow my favorite spot. Only recommendation is getting some misters for the outside during the summer or fans to get airflow.
