Good food, great service, a little pricey (solo for lunch); $60.00. Ordered the Pan Roast combo seafood (spicey #4 level), with side of dirty rice, a cup of Clam Chowder, and (2) 805 beers. Rolls also were served, very good. I tipped well (cash), because of great service!! I was staying in the Talking Stick Resort, so the atmosphere is okay and loud. I would eat there again.

It is okay. Probably will not be back but it was not bad. It is a Cajun version of comfort foods. Their Gumbo tastes like Cajun gravy and the seafood dip tastes like seafood nachos. Definitely interesting.
If you actually end up going here, a level two spice is probably perfect if you like a little bit of kick.

Small restaurant bar in the middle of Talking Stick Casino. Like 10 tables along with the bar. I wish the menu had more entrees. Got the Crawfish Etoufee and Fried catfish special. Both were really tasty. Good heat level at medium. Service was great. Refer this to people you know. That’s the only way I found out about this place. Going back soon to try the gumbo and appetizers.

Right there in the casino. It was smaller than I expected. I also didn't realize the seating was open to the casino floor and everyone walking by. Food and service was great, but noisy from the casino and no privacy.

March 11, 2025 (Time: 8pm)- Pricey and much overrated for what it is. We agree with Martha M review below. Cajun Cobb salad — shrimp were too cold. Should be warm. Shrimp were just short of frozen and chewy. Lettuce sucked. Salad was supposed to have bacon and we received grisly shredded parts of unsightly ham. Two other dishes MEH…..not impressed at all. Water came in plastic disposable cups?? Really? For a place where the least expensive appetizer is about $30 and high being $70. Finally, after waiting for our bill, I had to ask what happened to our waiter “Johnathon”. Another gentleman told us he was upstairs doing a report. Johnathon just disappeared and nobody took over to check on us our entire meal or refill our water, or ask about dessert. We have traveled and understand food and service. No tip was appropriate and we will NOT (I mean NEVER) be back. Just too many quality options in the area for this type of casino food and horrible casino service. For those that like it - you are easily impressed and likely intoxicated from the gaming floor. This is NOT a destination restaurant for the area. Repeat - NOT. Rather a hole in the casino wall. Johnathon - you are a smooth talker. All hat - no cattle. Clearly you know the management and are the tail wagging the dog.
We have been coming to OC for years. It’s one of our favorite PHX restaurants. Yesterday we came in for lunch. We noticed several empty tables but there was a waiting line. I could see that people were finished eating but sitting with dish waiting to be cleared. After about 15 minutes we were seated. We then noticed there wasn’t a Sous Chef. The chef was preparing serval meals but there was a back up of around 7 more meals to cook. I asked two staff members if they were short staffed. Both told me no. We ordered a Caesar salad with crab. It took approximately 30 minutes to get our salad. Thank goodness the quality of our salad was still spot on.

We have been coming here for several years and this is the first time that we have ever been so rushed and felt so unappreciated and unimportant. Just hurry in and hurry out. Take a number!!! Sad!!! No sense of humor with our server! No Smiles no eye contact! Really really un-welcoming. Not sure if it's under new management. They seem to be too busy to really care

I had the pan roast combo and key lime pie. All very good. I am not for too spicy and they had zero extra in mine and I really liked it.
Key lime pie was pretty good too. Would go again

Gumbo amazing 👏
Service from Joe is so professional
All I can say is thank you guys.
I had the Shrimp Cobb salad. Great flavor; a bit too cold, shrimp almost felt it wasn't thawed out properly. I don't think it was worth 40 bucks Canadian.
My server was very nice, she gets 5 stars.

Cool place. Great clam chowder! They taught me I like okra (I’ve never really had shrimp gumbo). I’d eat here again!

Simply put, this is the best lunch/dinner in Metro Phoenix. So good and for what they serve it’s a pretty good value.

We are a sucker for pan roast every time we go to Vegas, we need to stop by Palace Station.
So when we saw Ocean Trail serving pan roast inside Talking Stick Casino, we had to try.
Started out with half dozen Blue point oysters from Virginia ($27). The sizing was inconsistent.
We sat at the bar to watch the chef make our combo pan roast with spice level 5. He adds five spice, shakes the Cajun spice jar 5 times which corresponds to the spice level we picked, adds White wine brandy, more Spices and lemon juice.
The pan roast had crawfish, shrimp and crab meat for $39. Choice of white rice or dirty rice. We chose white and wished we tried dirty which is white rice with ground beef. Never seen this option any where else.
We enjoyed the flavors but the pan roast here was pricer and I’m used to having sausage and more seafood for lesser price. The broth was on the thinner runnier side not chunky. The portions were also smaller. Reasons for the overall 3 stars.
If you’re craving and want to spend your winnings, go for it. Otherwise, get it at the original pan roast at Palace Station.
