Always a fun stop. Usually just apps and margs when we come. Actually ate inside for the first time ever due to the heat that week. Service and everything was great.
My wife and I went on a Thursday evening while we were staying at the Valley Ho hotel for a staycation. We used to take the kids back in 2013 14 and 15. The food was really good. This was probably one of the worst meals I've had in 20 years. We got the cheese dip and it came out and was hardly even edible. It was fluffy. It was tasteless the meat was nasty. We split the three taco combo. The steak meat was dry no flavor. The beans were stale and had the appearance of being fake. We'd ask for the beans all rice that was wrong. The place thrives on homemade tortillas but yet they buy store-bought chips to serve at the table. Margaritas were good, but that was it.
Very sad for a long time staple of Old Town decline this bad. Rumor is it's for sale. The owner better wake up or they will never sell it.
Prickly pear margarita was delicious. Tacos were top notch.

Service and food are excellent here. We had the Sea Bass which was absolutely amazing. Fish tacos and pork chop were also delicious! Large portions here. Fun atmosphere.

Phenomenal food and margaritas... they hosted our company dinner outing this past week. Wish I didn't live across the country or would be back!
PATIO IS LOVELY GREAT FOR DRINKS BUT THE FOOD WAS JUST OK. THERE WERE 6 OF US AND NO ONE THOUGHT THAT THEIR FOOD WAS GREAT JUST OK
Great food and service as usual. Our server Crispin was exceptional. Our table enjoyed the Jalapeño and Platinum margaritas with a mix of exceptional entrees. Perfect spot for a nice business or family dinner!

According to the hostess, “online reservations stop at 2”, so even though the reservation was accepted by OpenTable, I arrived to our reservation with a group of colleagues and was told we didn't have a reservation. She originally tried to sit us outside even though we made it clear we were COLD, and refused to move any heaters to keep us warm. She eventually found us a table after a 20 minute wait, but we were sat in the back of the restaurant and service was incredibly slow/inattentive because of it. I would NEVER bring important guests here again.
Our service with Megan was excellent! But the restaurant itself left us a little disappointed. We found it expensive for what we got. To start, we had Mrs Sames original Margarita, we felt all Margaritas were way over priced and we both thought it tasted like they forgot the tequila! Our meals took a very long time to arrive, our server just came to tell us she was checking why our food was taking so long, when it arrived! Our food was ok, I had the Carne de Fuego, it was flavourful but tough and barely warm, Megan kindly took it back and it was re-made and came back hot but still a tougher cut of meat, accompaniments were tasty, my husband had the Ribs, they were delicious and hot but accomoanying fries were cold, our friends both had green enchiladas, they were also ok. We all thought that if the plates were hot it would have made a difference. The table we sat at was rickety and topped with a cheap looking brown sewn vinyl table cover, it was not appealing. All the lit trees were pretty, gardens were lovely. Compared to other similar type restaurants, we really felt it was over priced and it was disappointing. But again, the service was GREAT, Megan was personable, friendly, smiling, attentive and really seemed to enjoy her job! I'm sad to say we probably wouldn't go back.
Patio area is great but the high top tables and chairs were horrible. The food was literally the most bland Mexican food I've ever had. No spice, no flavor. The tortillas weee amazing though. Service was average at best. Refills on water and soft drinks were hard to come by.
Wonderful experience! Great food, delicious cocktails and wonderful staff. Our table enjoyed the Mahi Mahi tacos, Ribs and Green Enchiladas. Look forward to our next visit.
one of the best outdoor patios in the valley - open, quiet, great ambiance, and spirited. service was excellent. unfortunately, the food fails to live up to the patio atmosphere.
