First I say the restaurant is beautiful with the pictures to the painting. The fountain and the lighting is also cute. That being said. I had some Hispanic family come thru from another state and thought we should try this place. Well. The food was not that good. The food was bland. The tortillas tasted terrible. The drinks were watered down and barely any flavor. This place needs a whole make over of their food and drinks. The next part is that the person that came and brought the drinks had to push his way to the back part of the table and pushed my uncle's chair forward while he was sitting in it. The the old gentleman didn't even say excuse me or sorry. The server could of just handed us the drink and we would of set it back there for him. I really had high hopes cuz it's supposed to be like a tortilla factory.

We came up from Tucson and wanted to take my wife here for dinner and although I had been before we ever met she had never been. The food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was great, we did get there shortly after opening. Then a huge group arrived and it got very loud. The tortillas, were phenomenal we actually took as many home as we could. We would've sat outside but it was just to hot.

If you are looking for authentic, tasty food and great service, go here. Our server Jay was extremely sweet, helpful and a pleasure to be around. Everything was so tasty and there were options for Vegans as well. I modified a salad but it was not a basic salad. They also had a chocolate cake slice that was HUGE. Don’t forget the homemade tortillas! If I lived in the area, I would be a regular. Definitely recommend.

This was our second visit to this fun Mexican restaurant. Old Town Tortilla Factory is located in Old Town Scottsdale's art district. In a historic 75-year old adobe home. We had several dishes, we will add descriptions to the photos. The favorite was the tocos, drinks are nice that they serve with a mixer and that keeps the drink fresh. Nice atmosphere with plenty of room for big parties.

I took my girlfriend to The Tortilla Factory for her birthday. I hadn't been there in over fifteen years. It still looked to same minus the numerous people outside and in the bar house or the restaurant side. In fact, we only saw two other ladies there all night. The food was great but the chocolate cake was ✨️Devine✨️ OMG and it filled up both to-go boxes! We tried to wait until we got home to finish the chocolate cake but the staff put plastic forks and napkins in the to-go bag with the chocolate cake.... We ate all of that delicious chocolate cake that night!

I was in Mesa for work and a co-worker recommended this restaurant. It did not disappoint. The roasted jalapeno margarita was delicious (and spicy). The elote was 🔥. I had the Pasta Calabacitas and I wish I could recreate this dish. It was phenomenal. The fresh tortilla with garlic butter was a fun treat. I sat outside (it was 105) because of the vibe. The misting set-up made it quite comfortable. There was a little bird who kept jumping on my table to try and get a snack. It was cute. I cannot wait to return. My server was so nice as well. She's a teacher who went to Mizzou. I can't remember her name, but if management sees this, please reward her.

Always a fun stop. Usually just apps and margs when we come. Actually ate inside for the first time ever due to the heat that week. Service and everything was great.

My wife and I went on a Thursday evening while we were staying at the Valley Ho hotel for a staycation. We used to take the kids back in 2013 14 and 15. The food was really good. This was probably one of the worst meals I've had in 20 years. We got the cheese dip and it came out and was hardly even edible. It was fluffy. It was tasteless the meat was nasty. We split the three taco combo. The steak meat was dry no flavor. The beans were stale and had the appearance of being fake. We'd ask for the beans all rice that was wrong. The place thrives on homemade tortillas but yet they buy store-bought chips to serve at the table. Margaritas were good, but that was it.

Very sad for a long time staple of Old Town decline this bad. Rumor is it's for sale. The owner better wake up or they will never sell it.
