Parachos Tacos y Tragos

Best ceviche I’ve ever had! The guacamole was incredible. Handmade tortillas. The frozen Paloma’s are to die for. The food is amazing but what really made me write this review was the cozy hospitality that you feel when you walk inside.

The owner, David, was so kind to us and proudly told us the amazing story behind the name of the restaurant. His father is a famous guitar maker in Mexico! He even let us play one of his guitars. The staff were wonderful, everything was offered on time and food came out quickly and fresh.

Love the ambiance and the feeling of familiarity when you eat here. Definitely a must try restaurant !

5 Stars! But i do like to give just a small suggestion - the crunchy taco shell we would have liked if it was a fresh crunch rather then a slightly stale crunch. I don’t know if it’s the type of shell brand. But fresh crunch would have made it even that more great. But still 5 stars in authenticity and flavor. Drinks were excellent as well.

Found this new little hidden gem on a quick lunch break. Menu is simple and clean with delicious tacos. I assume the other food is great as well. Nice atmosphere and vibe in an an area that has needed something new and fresh. I’ll be back for sure!

Great drinks, food, atmosphere and staff! We tried a few different drinks- all were really good. Not the typical “chips and salsa”, guacamole was really good. We also tried a variety of other items, shrimp ceviche, carne asada tacos- would definitely recommend. Great local spot with super friendly and attentive service.

Went here for dinner with the family tonight and really enjoyed it. The service was friendly and fast, the place was clean and we enjoyed our food. The guac was delicious and the family had fun breaking up the tostadas into chips to dip. I really liked the sweet potato (my favorite) and carne asada tacos. Husband enjoyed the tinga taco and son loved the birria taco. My daughter who can be picky, gobbled up an entire carne asada torta. The kids want to make this a regular dinner spot for us! Thanks for great service and yummy food.

Parking: Only 2 handicapped spots so could b an issue but we r frankly used to too few of such spots no matter where we go.

Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped spots r right outside the front door. Very convenient.

We were very impressed with the food quality and drinks. The sweet potato, chicken tikka, and carne asada tacos all exceeded expectations. We also loved that they have a full bar and beer on tap. The menu is very limited though. I wish they have a few more choices of appetizers (even a simple chips and salsa) that would allow us to relax and stretch out the dining experience. Overall, we are happy with the addition of this restaurant near our community and will be back.

Loved this new spot! Great drinks, great food and great staff. Menu is limited but everything we tried was delicious. The watermelon margarita and the frozen margaritas ( Hibiscus and Paloma) were really wonderful. We tried the guacamole, Birria Dip Torta, Sweet Potato Taco and the Chicken Tinga Taco. Everything was so good! We highly recommend Parachos Tacos and Tragos!

The menu is a bit limited (that is intentional), but they made my kids quesadillas (not on the menu). Drinks were excellent. Salsa excellent (red and green). Excellent guacamole. The birra torta is superb!!

Blown away! I like most foods all of the time so this was a nice reminder that there are still places that can surprise you with food above the majority! What I mean is, this meal is one of the best I’ve had in a while! I assumed it would be good, I’m rarely disappointed with tacos and margaritas, “can’t mess them up” is what I say. But from beginning to end, every bite had so much flavor and tasted so high quality, I kept thinking to myself, “that was REALLY good!” throughout the entire meal. Our table shared some guacamole with break apart tortillas. I ordered ceviche, a sweet potato taco and a surprise taco - I asked them to just make me something. I don’t want to keep repeating myself, but I can’t explain enough how good it all was! Like, I’ll remember these tacos for a long time and measure every taco after this against these! Lastly, I have to mention the top tier drinks! The bartender is a friend, whose career I love to follow around the valley! I know his quality and seriousness about his craft and it shows in every drink he makes! They’re always perfect and never boring! Oh, and the restaurant is nice, good lighting, clean, plenty of seating!

Kid-friendliness: There were families with children enjoying dinner while we were here. There’s plenty of space in the restaurant for kids.

Perfect place to come relax, enjoy great food, great drinks and a great staff! Closest thing to authentic Mexican food you will get this close in Scottsdale. Margaritas are fantastic and the tortas are even better! Definitely will be back for dinner and work outings!
Two large TVs as well to watch sports!
