I went to this place to watch a Phoenix Rising soccer game. The bar food here is pretty good with some of the standard stuff like wings and burgers, to stuff you wouldn't expect like salads and seared duck. I had the Apocalypse Sow pork burger and the house tater tots. The burger was big, juicy, and tasty. The house tater tots aren't stuff you find at a regular fast food joint, they're are more like battered and fried balls of mash potatoes with bacon and onion...
Totally impressed from start to finish! We called to get a to-go order and unfortunately they did not have what we wanted but we're quickly informed that they changed the menu every day. We weren't even mad about it because when we got to the establishment to see their menu... we were overly impressed with the customer service and knowledge that the staff provided. SO FRIENDLY AND FUN!
Easily in my top 10 best meals! I had bone marrow for my appetizer, while extremely buttery, it never felt fatty. Then, I had the chicken pasta, the sauce was umami and there were just enough tomatoes to cut through it perfectly. Finally because it was all so good, I got the shrimp and grits, though I should have ordered it first because it comes out molten lava hot! Their menu changes regularly; however their idea of balance is clearly recognized through each creation.
