I have been on the patio three times in the last month. The chairs need to be replaced. They are uncomfortable and too low for the existing tables. It feels like you're a kid sitting at an adult table.
The menu at Pinnacle Grill is interesting and has something for any taste. The food is always consistently good. Our server and his support team were amazing.
The food was good overall, but one of our party didn't enjoy his shrimp scampi. There was a puddle of butter under the pasta. The service was inconsistent. Our server was attentive when we first arrived, but we saw less and less of him during our meal. We were going to order dessert but decided not to because of the service issue. My husband had to literally search the restaurant for the server to settle our check.
Wonderful waiter named Eric! One of the best we've had in Scottsdale. He was so kind and so efficient. He was so attentive and definitely put the customer first Great service from him. Will go back to dine there as often as we can!
Went therefor Easter special...quiche. Two kinds, sausage and ham and also spinach and feta cheese. Both excellent. Accompanied by breakfast potatoes and fruit. And, lest we forget, a great martini and Bloody Mary.
Nice neighborhood restaurant but it is not well managed. We waiting 50 min for two simple hamburgers and this is not the first time when the service is VERY SLOW. They always have excuses... too busy, new staff in the kitchen, something broke... We have now been there for lunch and twice for dinner and it is the same thing every time. When we were there before they appeared to have a “full house” and we thought well maybe they are just very busy. Yesterday the place was half empty and the same slow service.
We like Pinnacle Grill, but this experience was awful. We waited 1 hour 15 minutes for the meal to be served and one of the 4 dishes was wrong; I mean not even what was ordered. How did that happen. An insulting offer of a free dessert was made. I hope they do better and do better at apologizing. We want to like and support the place, but today makes it hard. BTW, we had a 6:00 reservation.
Parking: There is a great amount of parking spots at or near the restaurant. It's is surrounded by a couple really cool venues
Kid-friendliness: We always bring our children and have never had an issue
Wheelchair accessibility: We have have people in our family with mobility issues. Pinnacle has great sized doors and room to maneuver wherever you need. They have great patio seating as well.

Lots of options on menu with excellent nightly specials...blue cheese stuffed olives available for martinis is a nice plus.

I will first say, I've usually had excellent experiences at Pinnacle Grille, so I assume this was just a bad night, but it was very bad. 2 of the dinner items were good, but 1 was not good at all. The breaded chicken on the salad was tough and rubbery, the salad ingredients were not fresh as they usually are. The service was non-existent (not typical) and the food took 35 minutes to arrive when the restaurant was not full. I would have assumed they were short staffed, but when i saw other tables turn over and get food sooner than us (when they arrived and ordered after we had), that means there was a different issue. We had to ask for drink refills, which we did receive but the girl would drop them fast and quickly turn away and ignore the fact I was holding up an empty glass for her to take. So we ended up with 9 glasses on our table for 3 people which of course then 1 got knocked over and we had to clean it up as no one was ever paying attention to us. I had to start stacking the glasses and hoped it would make a point, but it didn't as we were completely ignored. We finally gave up and asked a bus boy to find our server so we could get the check. He brought the check, then never came back. So I paid in cash and we left; ironically as soon as he saw us leaving, he came back to take the check. No one throughout the entire dinner came to check on us, even the 2x we flagged down someone for refills it was a drop and go as fast as they could. I really hope this was a fluke and not the experience at this restaurant going forward.
I had the halibut special and it was great. I large piece of halibut, rice and tricolor carrots for $33. Great price. My husband's patty melt looked fantastic! And he said it was.
Excellent fish and chips.

We were visiting our elderly parents in Scottsdale. We found Pinnacle Grille on line and decided to try this family restaurant. Food was delicious and we will certainly return our next parental visit. We recommend this restaurant highly.
We were there on a Friday so my friend ordered the fish & chips served with steak fries. Two large pieces of cod and a generous amount of fries. He enjoyed his meal. I ordered a fish taco which was very good. On previous visits we had liver and onions which are outstanding. The service is always good. I recommend this place.
