Pitch Scottsdale - Pizza Restaurant and Liquor Store

Took some friends who were from out of town based on a recommendation of a friend. Stood at entrance for several minutes before being helped as we had a reservation. Was not busy. Courtney the server took our order, food came out one by one and several minutes in between, had to ask for salt, pepper and additional utensils. Never got the salt & pepper and server only checked back once after all food was served. Food was ok but not great and service marginal. Will not be going back!

Six of us came for happy hour. (there was maybe 10-15 people there). It took over 15 minutes to receive our cocktails and the appetizers started coming out before the drinks. The server and bartender had to ask us (at least twice) about our drink orders (and then one of the drinks was unable to be made). I've been to Pitch many times before but after this experience we will go someplace else.

Great happy hour and a generous offering for adult beverages. Mini charcuterie was satisfying for the price. Specialty old fashioned drinks were pretty decent. Star of the night was our server who was extremely friendly and professional. Laura was very attentive and took great care of us. Definitely a return trip in the near future. Neapolitan pizza was crispy and hot and the chicken sandwich tasted amazing!

Great vibey spot to eat. A little dark inside. Meals could be bigger. My boyfriend got the protein bowl and it was like an appetizer size and hardly enough for a full grown man. For the price they don’t give as much as you would expect. However, flavors are on point and the beet salad with the goat cheese phyllo crisp thing was on par.

Delicious food…. nice servers. LOUD music.
Observation: about 99% of wait staff have long hair & do not wear any “hair restraints”! That’s a Maricopa County health code violation!
I wish to apologize to this restaurant…. I carefully reviewed County health code; apparently wait staff in restaurants are NOT required to wear hair restraints! Only the actual food handlers [and I could see that the handlers were wearing them].

An awesome place! My wife Patricia Shahrivar had an amazing experience there. The food was fantastic. The service was great and the atmosphere was top notch! They are especially cool since they carry the liquor 🥃 from @Uncommon Spirits a local distillery who selected my wife’s art work titled “Twisted Kiss” as their new Gallery Collection bottle of Bourbon 🥃 and they won 🏆 top awards in a recent competition with this new Gallery collection.

My server Courtney was great, very friendly & attentive. The smoked mac & cheese is amazing, will be coming back in the near future.

Though the server was very pleasant, she was not very attentive: we had to ask several times for someone to find her to order; we were served lunch without any napkin or utensils and took several minutes for someone to bring set-ups; both lunches were incorrectly ordered (we both ordered half salads on the lunch menu and were served full salads--the salads were very good, but more than we wanted to eat; and we were charged for the full salad, which was fair but we didn't want a big salad); after asking for the check we had to wait five minutes and ask another server to find our server for the bill; one of the bills had a wine charge that had be previously paid for at the bar and the bill had to be adjusted. Service couldn't have been much worse, except, as I pointed out, she was very pleasant (and that counts for something!). I have been coming to Pitch since you opened, and will return: good vibe, great patio, good menu. But service has often been spotty, though not as poor as this visit.
