We have been coming here for over a year now. It is always the first place I think of for date night. The ambiance is always amazing. It's quiet and dim-lit for dinner. We love to sit outside when weather permits. Most of the year is comfortable outside because they have heaters and high-grade misters. The only time we really can't, it when it's pouring rain. The service is also wonderful. Our servers have always been kind, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. They can always give us a recommendation on wines. The drinks have always been delicious! They are craft cocktails. I usually get an espresso martini and they make one of the best in town. I believe they are $20/drink but it's so good I always splurge on it. Finally, the food. Every time we come here I find myself saying, they must order the best ingredients because even a simple dish with a few ingredients tastes better than I've had it anywhere else. For example, we always get Burrata to start. It has maybe 5 ingredients, but they use real, fresh figs, not just a jam. The bread that comes with it, I believe it made fresh in-house. We ordered the same style Burrata at Bourbon and bones... didn't even compare. Plus, the serving size was larger at Virtu. The meatballs here, I've never had a better one. They fall apart when you cut into them and they serve them in the best Sunday sauce ever. Every pizza we've had is delicious and I don't feel heavy after eating it. My favorite isn't on the menu anymore, but they will always make it for me. I order a margherita pizza and add spicy sopresseta and Calabrian chili peppers! It's divine! Don't sleep on Pizzeria Virtu, it's the best pizza in Arizona, in my opinion. Don't forget to make a reservation!

Great food, service and atmosphere! Started with some burrata and bruschetta. Then Ravi and diamanté pizza. Finished with butino and cannoli. Over ordered. Had pizza for breakfast next day. Reservations for Virtu Honest Craft on Friday. Tables were a little too close to each other but was cozy 🥰

The spaghetti with red sauce is not just a spaghetti with red sauce. It’s a whole different level me and my son are from LA and now we’re depressed leaving Arizona because of this Pizza spaghetti place we will miss this place. We just took a screenshot of this place so when we come back in the future and we know where to go we have a soccer game tomorrow before we leave to LA and we will make sure to stop by here again. You guys gotta try this amazing bomb.com pizza and spaghetti the end.

Creative, delicious food in a vibrant, romantic setting. The patio looks crowded from the street, but it feels spacious and private when you're there. The pizzas are innovative and surprising combinations that taste great. Potato pizza? Wonderful. The Lucania is my favorite, but it's hard to choose. I'm eager to try the pasta dishes next time!

Brittany our server was excellent and the food superb. Will definitely be talking up Virtu's virtues to my pals.

A real treat, hidden in plain sight.

Dinner was cozy and excellent, the pasta dishes were divine and packed a nice twist of heat with the Calabrian chilis. I tried the olive oil pasta with those Calabrian chilis and the sausage based meatballs.

Additionally, the pizza is excellent for those who like extra thin but still have a good crust for a handle.

The pork chop? That took me by surprise. Hammered flat and panko breaded… also highly suggested.

And, if possible, save room for desert. Classic cannoli, tiramisu, and olive oil cake are just a few of the options. All gone before pictures could be taken.

Interior was cozy without being too tight, outdoor patios looked dreamy with the oil lantern light.

Parking is interesting, some could say daunting, but please don’t let that stop you. 🍕🍝🕯️

What an awesome experience! The food was just incredible and so was the ambience and the staff. We ordered the lemon whipped ricotta appetizer as well as the burratta and then some spaghetti dishes. Every single dish was out of this world. We always forget how great this cute gem of a restaurant is.

We loved their bruschetta — absolutely the best we’ve had! The pizza was solid, though we personally preferred the seasoning and crispness at Nook Kitchen in Arcadia a bit more — chalk it up to personal preference!

Our server, Courtney, was wonderful. She was so sweet and even surprised us with a complimentary dessert for my girlfriend’s birthday — such a thoughtful touch!

My girlfriend really enjoyed the tiramisu, though I wasn’t a big fan of the gritty texture. Again, just comes down to taste.

The only downside was the seating situation. We asked to switch to a different outdoor table, but were told it was reserved — which surprised us since we thought reservations were only for indoor vs. outdoor general seating, not specific tables. We didn’t make a fuss, but we stayed for about 1.5 hours and the table remained empty the whole time, along with plenty of other open outdoor tables. It just felt a bit odd and unnecessary.

Overall, still a great experience with delicious food and excellent service — especially thanks to Courtney!

I am addicted to the Giardino - totally unique, fresh, as good if not better than many dishes I've had in Italy. The pizzas are always perfect. And the vibe is just perfect- a bit of a buzz but not out of control. PV has truly become an Old Town favorite.

We had twice previously dined here with another couple, and based on those positive experiences, the four of us returned this week for dinner. We all were dismayed by the decline in most all aspects of our experience over the past couple years (though the service was very competent). The pizzas were delivered lukewarm; incredibly, when two in the party wanted iced tea, they were told none was available (though an offer of hot tea was made---couldn't that have been brewed and poured over ice??); while the patio was less than a quarter full, the reception took almost five minutes to seat us even with our reservation. I can only conclude that Chef Osso has let this location slide for some reason. Sadly, it used to be a star for us.
