The Pony Express Café is a charming spot with hearty, delicious breakfasts that start your day right. Friendly service and cozy vibes make it a perfect local hangout!
Amazing breakfast burrito. The girl working at the front was super nice too! I would def come back.
Perfect little stop for a nice brunch. Chorizo was really good. Nice menu for both breakfast and lunch. We each had breakfast options (noon on Sunday) and really enjoyed them both. Nice size, shaded patio too for your meal.
Discovered this gem by chance after a hot day hiking. Super friendly, prompt service. Visually appealing, delicious fresh dishes - the chicken club wrap and tacos. The side of potatoe chips was perfect. Plus, the generous portion of iced coffee hit the spot! Loved the relaxed atmosphere and shaded outdoor seating area. We highly recommend this locally owned business and will return if we are in the area again. Wonderful to meet the owner, chat about local hiking trails etc. and staff. Thanks!
Stopped in for brunch after a morning hike at Tom's Thumb. Just the place we were looking for! Quick and friendly service at 11am on a Tuesday with plenty of good seating. The food and coffee were spot on! I really enjoyed my chorizo hash. I thought the potatoes were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a wholesome breakfast or lunch!
Our Lattes and Chai Teas were good. Fast service and very friendly. Our food was excellent. Weather was good so we were able to eat outside.
Amazing food and service was super quick. Totally come back again.
Pancakes and French toast were dry. They need to add a small bit of fruit to be included with your pancakes and French toast.
Some soft butter would have been nice too.
This place is like an oasis of good quality tasty food with lots of options. Wish there was a vegan option. Also amazing service and friendly atmosphere with great outdoor covered seating. Great.
Really great little breakfast and lunch spot! Decent service with a nice little outdoor area.
Vegetarian options: Veggie skillet (has cheese but the menu didn’t say it had cheese).

Everything was great about this place! We walked in at 3pm when they were closing up. Instead of sending us on our way, we were welcomed in and they made up a new dish for us to accommodate food restrictions. The food was delicious as was the sipping tequila. Definitely a go to spot for breakfast and lunch. We will be back, as will my dog after she was given a strip of bacon!
