Looked up Fine Mexican Food while in Scottsdale. This place was awesome, clean, great food and the owners are special people. Highly recommend eating here!The Chef’s special was awesome!

I decided to try this place out since I pass by it daily. Just to start, as I walk in, this place was so clean I thought they may have just opened. The employees are very welcoming and polite, the menu is easy to navigate, and the food exceeded my expectations! I will definitely be visiting this restaurant regularly. Thank you!

Heard a lot of good comments about this place so stopped by for lunch today. Carne asada and shrimp tacos. Incredible food, service by Juan and nice ambiance. Closest thing to real Mexican food in the USA. (We have a place in Zihuatanejo so we know good Mexican spices and their genuine food.).Looking forward to many dinners and lunches as it's very close to home and allows our small Mexican dog Blanquita!

We’ve ordered large take-out for dinner here twice, and both times were fantastic. We especially love the shrimp tacos and tuna crudo. Fresh ingredients with flavorful sauces and spices. Right sized portions great for sharing. Reasonable prices. Bonus points for the no plastic take-out containers. The storefront is intimate and unassuming, and the owners care about delivering good service, even with takeout.

Perfect atmosphere and delicious food and drinks

You can tell this chef is experienced as the food and drink flavors were top notch! The filet was the best steak of my entire life and my husband's salmon was also delicious.

I happened to be in Scottsdale yesterday and we came into Pulque for lunch. The dining room is small but very nice and clean. From our table I could see into the kitchen that was also very clean. We started off with margarita the one we ordered was her 2018 El Champion winner it was 14 dollars but very, very tasty. Then we ordered chips and salsa for 3 dollars and guacamole for 4 dollars. The chips were made fresh to order and sizzling the salsa is brown and very good. The guacamole is heavenly but there is one tropical fruit in it with a crunchy texture and not much taste, when I asked the owner what it was she wouldn't tell me. So Warning to people with allergies she's not going to tell you what it is, the other ingredients are tomatoes, avocado, cilantro and lime juice. Then came the main entree while it was a reasonable price, portions are small and some heavy spices that we didn't like. Watch out for the red sauce on the enchiladas although I like spicy food this sauce will burn your face off. The pork torta is on something similar to a French roll instead of the Mexican torta bread and the pork is stewed or similar to it. The torta had a heavy spice to it that was not hot but after a few bites the spice gets old. Our friend had pork tacos and that was the best entree of the three. The tacos were grilled pork and served soft. The beans served with the entrees are very spicy with a consistency of soup. I am posting pictures of everything except the tacos because our friend was late and I failed to get a picture of his food. The service was outstanding .

Delicious food, I have been here multiple times and every time is a great experience. If you want to try real Mexican taste this is totally the place to go.

Classically fine Mexican food......Salmon Maya, pollo con mole. Everything is delicately seasoned and features unusual sauces. It is a excellent dining experience.

After driving by and seeing the sign I Stopped in and was very happy with lunch. The pork torta is amazing. A small side of excellent refried beans.

We were in for dinner the other night and EVERYTHING was amazing! This place really is a hidden gem. The food is great but the couple that owns the restaurant are wonderful. It creates such a nice, cozy vibe. The exact opposite of most big corporate run Scottsdale restaurants. My new go to place.
