This is our favorite sushi restaurant. However, Last night we arrived (having had a reservation days ahead of time). They had overbooked, so our option was to sit outside (and the temperature was in the 90's). They have misters, however the breeze was blowing them away from us. We ordered our beer and they returned saying they were out of that. Then, we ordered our food and for some reason, one of our rolls never came out. We told our server and she said they're working...
Happy hour here is fantastic. Our 4 rolls were terrific except one was maybe too sweet. (The sauce) Value is great. Service is awesome. Can't wait till the refurbishing its completed.
We have patrons of Pure Sushi for many years. While there have been excellent, good and not so great chefs, the current chef is excellent. The servers are usually very good although tonight was a busy night and it was apparent that some were new. Always a pleasant dining experience.
