Beautiful spot, however the food was a lot to be desired. What really was disheartening was the treatment by the manager over something as simple as seating us. It's hard to make your point of "we're busy" like 2 tables remaining empty for 20 minutes and following it up with how somehow we were responsible for his staff losing money. What a bizarre argument, especially when the manidorty tip was added to our bill. Nothing says go across the street like his attitude. Get it together.

We had dinner last night on the patio and we had a server that was exceptional. His name was Michael and he did say he was new. This young man was friendly, nice and on top of what he was doing. Quill Creek Cafe, what a GREAT hire! I would want Michael working in my company, especially if he was working with customers! Don't let him get away............

Just had the best chicken pot pie here! Came here for lunch today and it was a great atmosphere! I appreciate we had a nice view of the course. Service and atmosphere here were lovely and I appreciate it's open to the public. We have hosted an event here before. It's a great spot!!

My wife had a salad for dinner at this restaurant and got food poisoning from it that lasted for six weeks. It tasted horrible and she did not eat much of it but got very sick. DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT!!!

For at least 10 or more years, my wife, parents, and I made it our tradition for both Easter and Thanksgiving to enjoy our holiday buffet meals here every year. The food, service, and ambience have always been excellent - and still are and still were as of our experience at the Thanksgiving buffet today. For these factors in and of themselves, I would be leaving a five star review. However, after today's experience, I am not only removing two stars, but will say emphatically that today's visit will be our last, for one reason and one reason only: the inexcusably greedy tip-grab!!! Like far too many establishments in this out-of-hand GREEDY tip-grabbing age, Quill Creek has gone to a "pay on the iPad while the server gets to watch over your shoulder" system. This was not the case until this year. Furthermore, the MINIMUM tip amount was set at 20%, with NO option to leave a custom tip under at least that amount. THIS IS GREED. I'm sorry - actually, no I'm not sorry - but the standard and reasonable tip is 15% of the PRE-TAX amount, with option for up to 18% for EXCEPTIONAL service. Any presumption or requirement of anything above that is AN OUTRIGHT GREEDY MONEY-GRAB and we won't stand for it. They got their 20% today - but at the cost of any and all future visit from our group of four. Hope it was worth it.

Had dinner here on the patio (in early October). Plenty of seating, view of the greens and sunset. Since this is outside seating some of the chairs were a bit stained and dusty. Table surfaces were clean though. Our food arrived fast and was fresh. Fish tacos in soft tortilla were a hit. My personal favorite though is the Supergreen quinoa salad.Dietary restrictions: Servers are serious about food allergies and cross-contamination. Very careful.Parking: Good amount of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: All of the buildings are easily wheelchair accessible.

Nice restaurant with beautiful Mountain views on Grayhawk Golf Club. It's a Southwestern Style Restaurant offering an American fare menu.We ordered Pretzel Rolls for appetizers and they came out with warm cheddar sauce, lots of course salt like a regular pretzel and really hot that we could barely pick them up. Great appetizer selection. For dinner we ordered Chicken Pot Pie which appeared huge and had lots of shreaded chicken, lots of veggies and a yummy sauce. We also ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich which had lots of thinly sliced Prime Rib, Pepper Jack Cheese and au jus for dipping. It comes with choice of side of French Fries, Mango Coleslaw, or Redskin Potato Salad. It had really good flavor and served hot. Everything is a great value for the price considering the beautiful views on the golf course and the outstanding service.A nice place to just kick back and relax while enjoying a tasty meal! Definitely will return!!

Great time on the patio. Weather was great. My lunch of Cesar Salad and Shrimp (3) was nice. The wait staff was very nice and efficient. The corn chowder is the best I have ever had. I buy 3-4 bowls and eat it for dinner. The salsa is sub par as is the quacamole it's tooo mild and tasteless, no kick at all Lets fix it

This place has better views than food and service. The service was nothing to write home about and the food was very ordinary. Won't return...

First time we ate in the Quill Creek Cafe ( inside dining). We usually eat at Phil's Grill adjacent outside ( weather was cold). There is plenty of parking at the Gray Hawk Golf Club. The waitress Kathryn was excellent. She was professional, courteous, and personable. There were four male persons dining that day. She did separate checks. The menu was quite diversified. I had the soup ( broccoli cheese) and a half Club Sandwich . Delicious. Huge half portion. Plenty of tables and half booths there. Highly recommend eating here inside on a cold day.

Wonderful view and setting you would expect at Grayhawk in North Scottsdale. Dillon our server was friendly, helpful and very efficient making us feel welcomed. We all ordered the Prime Rib sandwich, thinly sliced prime stacked on a warm roll with pepper jack cheese and a side of au jus and creamy horseradish sauce. The sandwich was very filling and everyone enjoyed it. Friend ordered a Kettle One martini and was a bit shocked to learn it was twenty dollars! Suppose he should have expected that however I thought it was just a bit overpriced. They have a huge outdoor patio that looked inviting. Would definitely recommend and return.
