We tried Chef J’s again because we saw that they had a grand reopening and had changed to a Dim Sum and Hot Pot restaurant. We were excited to try the menu because we’ve always wanted to try the dumplings and boa buns but never could decide on what to commit. This change allowed us to sample a lot of things we wouldn’t normally get and the staff was very attentive. Went to celebrate a family birthday. There were nine of us. Service was excellent as well as the food. Portions were very generous. The menu. Unlike many Asian restaurant menus,Chef J presents you with one large card printed front and back with all their offerings. There is a picture as well as a description of each item. Drink offerings are on a separate card. No one in our group was disappointed with their selections. Please give them a try. You will be happy you did.

We opted out of cooking on Xmas and decided to have Chinese and go to the movies. I was a little disappointed that they weren't doing dim sum but understood that there was a limited menu on the holiday. We had steamed dumplings, lo mein, fried rice, happy family, orange chicken, and generals chicken. The food came out quickly and it was delicious! The staff were friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back to try the dim sum menu!
