Jeff immediately welcomed us with a smile and warm reception then provided amazing service and wine recommendations. He served us a Pinot noir that was super deep and bold, and I honestly thought he poured the wrong varietal. He was so gracious and brought out the bottle (for our examination ) and poured a small sample next to our glass of wine to compare. Indeed it was a big bold Pinot noir by Meiomi Vineyards. The salmon BLT was big enough to split between my wife and I and was absolutely delicious and grilled to perfection. What a surprising dinner venue and great service provided by Jeff. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is in the Holiday Inn, and they have such wonderful service. Although it can be a little slow, if you’re not in a rush, the people and service are great. They’re compassionate, comforting, and the food is great! This is in an open area in the middle of the lobby, so it has a view of the outdoor pool, but coming here at the beginning of Fall it is not an issue at all.The morning crew definitely know what they’re doing and they are so outgoing. By day 3 they remembered our order and just were on top of things. The dinner was good, not terrible, but for the price when coming from seattle, it was great!

Perfect place for a family staycation close to entertainment and activities near and around Scottdale, Arizona. Full service restaurant-bar on location that serves breakfast too. The pool and hot tub is better that normal pools with a water wall and waterfall. The room was spacious with great TV channels, Keurig coffee maker in room with pods and mini refrigerator.

Nice, clean & comfortable hotel. Lots of work space if you need to work from your room. Have stayed here multiple times a year for business as we are remote employees & it’s close to my husbands corporate office. HOWEVER, the front desk staff are not friendly or helpful. They can’t accommodate simple requests without referring you to a manager (who is only on site limited hours/day). A request for late checkout is very frustrating. Multiple times, multiple trips was told to call back when Manager was onsite. Today, checkout day, called again @ 7am & was told to call back @ 10am when checkout is @ 11am. ??‍♀️ After calling at 10am was told we must leave no later than noon, when the website says 2pm for all members. So here we sit, in the lobby, finishing our work…housekeeping had just started working on the room next door when we left & wasn’t going to be starting on our room for a couple hours. To the staff, please know we’re not asking for late checkout in order to sleep in, some of us have jobs to do that require a quiet room w/a desk & wifi. Working from a noisy lobby is not conducive to such work.

Hidden gem diamond in the rough, whatever you want to call it. Definitely a great, clean place with a friendly staff. Shout out to Michael M. at the front desk. Man I was having a heck of a month and a bad day/early morning. Micheal was more than accommodating and was truly the definition of customer service. Thank you!

First - the people at the front desk didn't even say hi, never mind Merry Christmas. We were told by the maids that to get the room cleaned you had to request it at the front desk. When we said: The maid told us to ask you to have our room cleaned - the woman at the front desk said - NO - you have to TELL ME to have your room cleaned - we found that odd. The room cleaning consisted of removing the used towels. They didn't even make the bed or remove wrappers from the counter. There was no coffee or anything for that matter in the lobby - and generally, it was a terrible experience. What happened to hospitality? I guess no one wants to work jobs like that so we suffer - but the price is still high - avoid this place at all costs if you're looking for a hotel with service.

I have stayed here many times and have Diamond status with IHG. Bryan at the front desk is not friendly at all. Don't plan on getting an upgrade even with Diamond status as it will not happen even if it is empty. I am very disappointed with my treatment and will find another hotel next time I am in town.

Stayed here with my daughter for a soccer tournament in town. Rooms were nice, fairly large and clean. Beds were comfortable. They set up a special breakfast to accommodate our group, which was appreciated, and the food was quite good (fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes). My only suggestion is for the front desk staff to perk up on their friendliness but otherwise a solid stay here.

We were quite pleased with the quality and cleanliness of the room and other facilities. The staff was friendly and accommodating, Each time we needed additional coffee k-cups, the front desk was happy to hand some over, which these early-morning risers appreciated. The outdoor pool and hot tub was a delightful addition! Super-convenient location (right off the 101).

This seemed like a higher-caliber hotel given the rates but it was lacking in many respects. Nice, attractive, clean grounds and lobby/public areas. Room was clean but showing wear/lack of maintenance. There was an awful smell in the lobby both times we stayed here, about a week apart. We stayed in many different mid-range hotels over the course of this trip and these beds were very uncomfortable compared to the others. Courteous staff but response regarding what should have been a minor, fixable problem was lacking. Close to numerous food outlets and other destinations, which was the attraction for us. Convenient to major highway.

Wow this hotel is beautiful! Everything was a great experience from check in to check out. Great location, close to many places to eat. The rain tree cafe was closed the night we checked in and we are out for breakfast so I cannot comment on that. The room was perfect, clean and in good condition. I wish we could have stayed more than one night! Everyone was so friendly too!

We stayed for a week at the hotel. We had been at this hotel in 2016, so we could make a comparison to how it was previously. Unfortunately, we easily noticed how much it has gone down since then. First of all, covid rules seem to not be enforced at all in the hotel. None of the employees at the front desk ever wears a mask. Same for the very few employees cleaning the rooms that we saw on the hallways. Guests are also allowed to be everywhere (lobby, elevators, and hallways) without any mouth and nose protection at all. Besides not following covid rules, the personnel is very impolite. We encountered a person from the front desk smoking at the main entrance several times. The attitude of the personnel is always with a lack of responsiveness and customer service. No "good mornings" or "good evenings" only a "hey" here and there, as if we were at a convenience store. Every time we approached them for a question or a request it was a painful experience where they were clearly making a huge effort. It seems that Holiday Inn has engaged a personnel with a complete lack of hospitality skills and respect for the hotel guests. The rooms are not cleaned everyday, there is only a light service to change towels upon request. The rooms are a bit old, the carpets have stains, furniture is not at the best standard. All in all, a pity that a hotel cannot offer its services in the best of standards. A complete disappointment! We suggest you consider any other option (ie. Hilton Garden Inn or Marriott) if you spend a few days in Scottsdale.
