We have been going there for 28 years. The food has always been great but lately since remodel the food is wonderful. The staff has always been perfect. This week we went two times.

I simply cannot say enough good things about your food, drinks, and service. It is the best we have found & trust me, we have eaten a lot of Mexican food! There is nothing I can suggest. You can’t improve on perfection.

Out of tamales…. Again! Was going for my green corn tamale for my birthday, and no tamales of either. Very disappointing!

The hostess was great, but then we sat st the table for 10 minutes without any acknowledgment other than cos being dropped off. Our server walked by at least twice without a word. It wasn't until we were leaving that he tried to stammer a lame excuse. Had he acknowledged us at all, we would have waited.

Made a reservation over the phone for 2 people at 1730. When we arrived we were told they did not accept reservations for only 2 people. Why didn't they tell us that when we made the reservation?

So very disappointed! Wanted a good margarita and there was no flavor. The chicken in the burrito was boiled chicken breast a little shredded with NO seasoning or flavor rolled in a flour tortilla. Dry and again No flavor! Tacos were dry and flavorless. The only good items were the fajita salad bowl and the queso cheese. So overrated! Save yourself the money! I would never go there again!

We have always enjoyed our meals at Ajo Al's. The food is good, and the staff is friendly. The salsa and beans are the best. We are vegetarian and so we go for meatless dishes. I enjoy the bean and cheese burro enchilada style and it comes with rice and beans. My husband loves green corn tamales with rice and beans.
