We sat on the other side of Rita's and we had the whole place to ourselves. Quiet great service ambience was excellent just what we liked. John server was just wonderful. He paved himself very well. Definitely recommend this place.

I would say the ambiance of this restaurant is very good. The service was good up until we specifically asked that our Seabass order be put in and delivered in a half an hour or so. It came within three minutes. And I would say that the quality of that was not great. So on two points, the quality of the food and the server and the delivery of it missed. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Turkey club was excellent, along with the side salad. Our server was upbeat, cheerful, fun and outgoing. Overall most pleasant. And I could hear myself think, unlike so many places.

Rita's is a great spot that offers delicious food and drinks and wonderful, friendly service. We enjoyed it a few times during our stay at the JW, but we highly recommend dropping in for Happy Hour!

Ritos has a wonderful ambience on evenings when it's providing service to locals and vacationing hotel guests. On this visit, however, and previous visits a conference was taking place and the conference was dismissed during our dinner resulting in 50 to 75 additional people standing in groups around the bar and throughout the bar area/lounge. The noise level prohibited, even table conversation . We will have dinner elsewhere in the future. The food was only average anyway. The bottle of Austin Hope Cabernet, however, was great.

Rita's has the best roasted chicken in Phoenix! The live music was a bonus and made the entire evening pleasant and very relaxing. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable as well! We cannot wait to return!

Had a great business meal. It is within the JW Marriott. There is free event parking outside, and you do not have to valet.Service was excellent, and everyone enjoyed their food. Enough options to come back to try new things if you are staying at the hotel.

Love the guac trio, great atmosphere. Had Johnny as our server. He gave excellent food options, awesome service. He also gave a great history of the property and reccomndations of surrounding things to do. Hope Johnny will be there when I visit again. ? ? ⭐️ ? ? (Johnny 5 star rating)Not related to the above... but a comment for marriott.....I sat at the bar a few days before and the bartender had on wrestling despite customer objection. ?

Had guests visiting and thought this would be lovely on a nice evening on the patio. Staff was very accommodating when we needed to change the time. View and music was absolutely wonderful. 5 out of 6 of us ordered the Shrimp Enchiladas with the suggestion from our waitress. All agreed it was incredibly underwhelming with little flavor ( not spice level, just flavor) and teeny tiny shrimp. Ridiculous for $26. Guacamole appetizer had no flavor, just avocado. I'd return for a drink, but I agree what others have said about the meal being below expectations.

Funfood

Wow, wow, WOW! What a great spot for breakfast! I’m sure the other food is good too, but I can only speak to breakfast. I had the blueberry lemon French toast and it did not disappoint! I also had one of the best breakfast quesadillas I’ve ever eaten! Service was great, food was great, atmosphere was great…you need to eat here. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but worth it. Our server, Rita, was top notch!

We asked for two heaters for our outdoor table as it was cold out. We were told that only one heater per table was allowed. About 45 minutes later we looked around and several other tables had two heaters. We asked again and we were brought another heater... thank you. Was somewhat confused and annoyed about the original response.

Really disappointed in our experience here after hearing so many recommendations for it. We did a dinner and a breakfast here, and The food was all very good and the enchiladas were some of the best we’ve had, as we had been told would be the case. The setting and ambiance is exactly what you want in a rustic, outdoor Arizona setting. Beautiful place. The service is where things fall apart here, unfortunately. At dinner, We waited an hour and a half after ordering our main course meals before they finally arrived. It was an hour before the server even acknowledged there was an issue and even then played it off as a minor setback while our two young kids were starting to squirm. The manager came over to apologize to the table next to us for the same issue but had been seated twenty minutes after us. We received no such accommodation, probably bc the restaurant clearly prioritizes the business traveler guests of the hotel over families. We had a similar experience at breakfast. The first question the server asked was whether we had any vouchers or discounts on the breakfast and then dispersed the entirety of the meal until we asked for the bill, which she got wrong and was angry about being proven so. Also, the man who worked the omelette and waffle griddle station was so unfriendly that two of my kids refused to go order for themselves. We’ve eaten out hundreds of times and have never had that happen before. A shame for any restaurant to have this kind of experience, even more so with one a connected to a hospitality experience like the JW is supposed to offer.
