Opened up with Oysters Rockefeller that had a nice balance of toppings and beacon that did not over power the oyster. Followed up with clams that were great and the sauce for dipping bread We ended with Halibut and it too was a nice balance of flavors. Drinks were made fresh and without a long wait. Great overall experience
Service was excellent. Not sure why the restaurant is set up as almost all two tops. As to the food, oysters were excellent, shrimp cocktail was also excellent. When it came to the cooked food, the salmon was way overcooked, almost inedible. Fish and chips was good. Dessert was good. Noise level almost intolerable. Terrible acoustics. OK, but not competitive with similarly priced Scottsdale restaurants.
First time visiting Rockefeller for husband's birthday and we were very impressed with the service and the vibe. The restaurant is tucked away at The Mercado in Scottsdale which in itself, has a quaint feel. As we approached the restaurant, the large door was quite inviting. Once inside, the huge bar catches your eye right away and you can see the bartender's mixing up drinks and enjoying laughs with the patrons. We were early for our reservation which was no problem, the hostess greeted us right away and we were able to choose where to sit. We picked a high-top right by the bar so we could get a good look at all the fun cocktails being made. Our server introduced himself and let us know it was still Happy Hour and pointed out a few good selections. We chose the shrimp ceviche, which was really good and for drinks we had a couple of spicy Paloma's which were also quite good. As we reviewed the menu, there were so many options, we knew it would be hard to choose. Jacob suggested the Chilean Sea Bass, so we took his advice, and the Blackened Halibut was our 2nd selection. These dishes did not disappoint, the plating was beautiful and the sauces complimented the fish without overpowering. To top off an amazing evening, a slice of NY style strawberry cheesecake was brought to the table in celebration of B-Day which was heavenly. We had a great experience and will definitely put this on our fine dining rotation. If you are looking for really good seafood, you need to try Rockefeller.
Service was outstanding. For was fabulous! We ordered the octopus ceviche, the salmon burred Blanchard's and the sea bass. Sauces were outstanding. Artichike risotto was creamy and cooked to perfection. Veggies were nicely done and not overcooked. Ceviche was flavorful and refreshing. Please bring back you seafood risotto??? Thank you for the birthday cheesecake. A very nice touch.
The restaurant is too loud. I made a reservation, made it clear I was hard of hearing, had a waitress that was hard of hearing and directly next to the kitchen door. You will not see me again. I love Publicco and your entire staff, but will not return to Rockefeller. Tod Carson
We enjoyed our dinner, the only complaint was that it was very warm inside the restaurant like the AC definitely needed to be turned up a bit. But the service was great, and the food was good.
Always a great night at Rockefeller! Delicious food. Perfect drinks. Excellent service. What more could you want. Rockefeller is consistently one of our favorite spots in Scottsdale!
This was our first time going to Rockefeller and our dinner was a special time as it was our 12th wedding anniversary, I had the scallops with the artichoke risotto which was a 10 out of 10 perfectly cooked flavors were amazing, the risotto best I've ever had, my wife had the blackened halibut with asparagus Amazing absolutely amazing, we will be back
Great food as usual. Baja tacos and crabcake were outstanding. Cocktails and wine were first rate. Great service in the beautiful bar area.

Server was good crabcakes were very good... best part of the meal & I know my crab cakes Ambience was decent...place was smaller than I expected it was going to be I probably wouldn't put this place in my top 10 seafood joints around Phoenix Definitely not in my top 5...Ocean 44 and Buck & Rider are both much better places for seafood and ambience seafood was average to just a little above average. Overall rating = B-

Staff is friendly and quick The Food is just not really great at all. So for two people , No Alcohol 200.00 is too much for what this is. Buck and rider is less $ and Much better food. The Restaurant is ok but apparently no dress code for staff or Patrons. The price and theme of the restaurant is like it's nice but it's just not . Love The area and really wanted it to be good.
We sat at the bar for dinner instead of using our reservations. Outstanding choice because the interaction with all of the staff up at the bar was an amazing experience. Easy to engage and talk with tailored options of drinks and secret food menu items!
Went tonight for my birthday dinner, had the restaurant week menu which had great options. We had the oysters Rockefeller, steak with chimchurri, linguine with clams and the cheesecake. The linguine was a bit bland but the broth was good. Only thing that we didn’t like is we noticed the couple behind us getting top notch service but we arrived first the waiter was recommending cocktails but I’m pregnant so I can’t drink I wish there was mocktail recommendations but it seemed to cater to alcohol beverages. I was a bit upset when I asked for my food to be boxed up but we just got boxes and the VIP couple had 2 servers boxing their food… kinda felt left out…

Crab cake was great, and our waitress was wonderful. My daughter and I both got the Kobe Burger which were good but did not come out as ordered and when they were sent back they came out again incorrect. We also ordered the chocolate cake dessert that was supposed to be warm but was ice cold. The food that came out of the kitchen was inconsistent and for the $$$$ that should not happen. Will go back for an appetizer and a drink but nothing more.
