Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

First time at Rudy's. It's very self serve other than getting your tray of food. Grab your own drink, plasticware, napkins and garnish. Brisket and pulled pork were the most tender I've ever had. The bun was fresh and soft. Wet naps would be helpful with the sticky fingers. One ick factor, the community bottle of BBQ sauce at the tables are handled by everyone and then you eat with the same hands. Sort of unsanitary.

We found the food lackluster. The sides (coleslaw, beans and corn on the cob) were nothing special. They were a bit like grocery store sides. The brisket, ribs and sausage just weren't super tasty. $61 should ensure better quality. The only reason we gave it 2 stars was for the atmosphere. We can't recommend and we won't be back.

Long time fan but this location fell short

“Moist” Brisket was very dry. I expect it to fall apart.
Sausage was tough.

The staff seems to wander in circles rather than collecting trays.

It was a strange experience I won’t repeat

This place is my new favorite place to eat in the morning! I suggest trying the brisket breakfast tacos. I've also had the ribs, which were phenomenal! And another good thing to get is the 3 meat combo. Sometimes it's almost too much to eat, but it's soo delicious. But I stop by there every morning for those brisket tacos and they are a great price. $3 a taco is way better than going to the gas station.

These people are SOOOOO NICE! Very sweet and helpful.
I appreciate their kindness so much. Im disabled and took my handicapped adult son for a treat. We used to go to the Location in Litchfield every week. I got lots to take hone and we ate a late lunch there. Delicious!!! Food is Excellent and Manager was Excellent making sure we were ok. I appreciate the kindness offered. It is VERY RARE. Im am grateful. Made it easy to relax and enjoy our meal.

Delicious mouth-watering meats - it was hard to drive home with the meals in my car, the delightful aromas were killer!
Plus they give military discounts!!!
Great place to hang out with friends and enjoy delicious food.

Been here twice, hoping for some great Texas BBQ, but both times left me disappointed. The first visit was around 8 p.m., and the second was at noon. Both times, the food was unfortunately cold, and the restaurant was nearly empty, making me wonder if timing was an issue. Sadly, I didn’t find a good time for a satisfactory meal.

Not cheap, but tasty! Great treat for a fast lunch appointment. It could be cheap, maybe, if the serving size hit the spot. But I had to order at least two things so I wouldn't leave hungry. ??

I've been to the original Rudy's in Texas and the food is 1,000% excellent! The issue that I have with the Scottsdale, AZ location is the process of the smoking of the brisket they are NOT using the correct wood to smoke the brisket, the brisket taste comes off as burnt pallet wood, avoid the brisket at this location, The turkey was excellent very much the same as the original, the Ribs were good, the beans were good but needs just a little pizzazz.. They have excellent staff Great place if you're going to have a lot of people.
