Rusty Nail Meats is hands-down one of the best meat markets I’ve visited, the steaks and roasts come out incredibly tender and flavorful, and the selection (beef, lamb, pork, fish, even specialty cuts) covers everything I need for both everyday meals and special occasions. The staff are friendly and helpful, taking time to custom-cut the meat exactly how I like it, which makes home cooking feel a lot more like dining out. The store is clean, easy to get to, and the hours are convenient, whether I swing by on a weekend or after work. If you care about quality and want better-than-grocery-store meat, this place is a must-visit.

Went in for the first time today so this is my initial take. The store itself is nice though it seemed to have a lot of empty space. Not sure why. Meats behind the counter looked exceptional. Beautifully marbled and trimmed. I was looking for two things. Smoked ham hocks which they were out of and Prime flat iron steaks which they don’t carry. Surprising. Not sure I’ll be back but the stuff they did have looked great.

I called and asked if they sold jerky. The young man that answered was super polite and happy to take my call. He let me know that they sold a few flavors and invited me to the store. Upon arrival I was greeted and welcomed in. The young man I spoke to let me try the 2 flavors that had and I mad my selection. THE SEDONA SAND JERKY IS FANTASTIC. Thank you for being kind and friendly I will be back for more !

I have been to this location a hand full of times but today threw me through a loop. When I asked what type of feed the chicken where feed there were mixed answers, my biggest concern is the chickens feed soy in their diet and they were unaware. A little odd not to know that but ok fine, then the girl behind the counter let me know the chicken is not organic, this is concerning to be honest. If she is miss informed and told me the wrong information this is concerning as well. Sadly I will be going back to Scottsdale Meat Market even though it's a little bit further from me.
I bought a rack of baby back ribs yesterday, got them home 5 minutes later and straight into the fridge. A fridge that I keep on 9 and moonlights as a freezer. For context, I didn’t see them wrap them because I walked over to the freezer case to grab some oxtails and then over to the seasoning rack to pick out a rub. Less than 24 hours later, I was about to prep the ribs for the smoker, opened the butcher paper, only to find a rack that was half rotten, black and smelling horrible. The funny part is we’d gone through everything in the fridge because we smelled it but never thought it could have been the ribs. Now, my question is, did something mysterious happen or did they just knowingly sell me some spoiled ribs?

Great deals for the quality of meat we purchased. They sold frozen meat bags and we had to give it a try and we absolutely loved cooking them! The meats thawed and cooked easily and we were able to pace how much we cooked as well.

Stopped in there the day before the 4th to get some things to grill over the long weekend. Arrived only a little bit before closing time. They were super helpful and kind. They went above and beyond. Thank you for the great service. We’ve enjoyed grilling with the delicious selection we have.
