I got the shrimp spring rolls to go. Very flavorful and love that they actually add herbs (unlike many other places), which makes it taste sooo much better! They also had a good portion of shrimp, unlike some other places that barely give you anything.

The place looked clean as well. This will be my new go-to spot!

I like the food here. It’s unfortunate that the service is so lacking. The person bringing the food can’t even smile or acknowledge you’re there. That’s fine because I think he doesn’t speak English, but the front staff for order taking and cashier is so rude. I need to find another spot to go for Pho.

After reading reviews from other customers, I’m not surprised that I had a similar experience. The staff (or possibly the owner) was not customer-service oriented, and the noodle portion size was quite small.

The biggest red flag for me was the hygiene. First, I found two hairs on my spring roll (they were thin, and one was partially hidden underneath). Second, when the server brought our bowls to the table, his thumb tip was soaking in the soup.

I will not return and do not recommend this place.

10 stars. This is not ur regular Vietnamese restaurant with pho, it's Thai flavors too. Best papaya salad. Obsessed with their hot and sour soup with shrimp and pineapple, it's healthy and to die for! Tried their coconut kumquat drink and it was amazing! So unique. Wish I lived closer.

I wish I could have reviewed the food.. unfortunately didn’t even make it to that. I walked in and was sort of greeted by a gentleman in the counter.. as I was looking at their menu since it was my first time and super excited to try it.. he asked very rudely, do you know what you want? I said, no not yet this is my first time here. He said extremely rude, then sit down if you don’t know. At that point he made me feel super uncomfortable and I told him.. no, I will not sit down and walked out, he didn’t seem to care. Its unfortunate that there are people like him either owning or running businesses. I would not recommend this place, nor will I ever be back. There are so many amazing options to try instead! Merry xmas!!!

The food at this restaurant was ok, but I was disappointed to find out they charge a credit card fee without informing customers beforehand. It wasn’t mentioned by the staff or listed anywhere visible, and I only noticed it after seeing the receipt.
I don’t mind paying a small fee if it’s disclosed, but transparency is important. I hope they make this clear to customers in the future.

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! The owner is extremely rude and not customer service oriented at all! She refused to provide my food, after it was paid for- walked away a refused to answer why she would not provide my food or a refund. I am currently disputing with my bank. Please do yourself a favor and do not order anything from these people.

Very nasty environment, sticky tables, rude staff, insects crawling around floor. Do not recommend👌

This was an interesting experience. I was looking for banh mi and read reviews of this new business that gave high praise to theirs.

Walking into the restaurant, the first thing I noticed was that the air conditioning was either off, broken, or set very high. Granted it was a mild day, but it's unusual to walk into a Phoenix establishment even on an 80° day and not feel air conditioning.

There was no one at the counter to take my order, although there was an old school bell to ding. That proved unnecessary as while I was looking at the menu board, a woman came out from the kitchen.

She didn't seem especially thrilled to see me but maybe scowl is her neutral expression. When I said I wanted the pork bahn mi she looked at me as if she had no idea what I was talking about. Then I saw on their menu board that they actually don't refer to it as bahn mi, but call it French bread and they serve it with chicken, pork or tofu.

I got into the local nomenclature and in a Vietnamese restaurant instead of asking for a bahn mi, I asked for the pork French bread. That seemed to check the correct boxes to get things underway.

However, when it became clear that single item was all that I was ordering, the scowler proceeded to (what can best be described as) snap at me (and I'm not that sensitive) and tell me that my order was very small. I stood my ground and decided to take my chances and just get the small bahn mi (sorry French bread).

My order was prepared in a reasonable amount of time (then again it wasn't very busy) and when it was delivered to my table it didn’t look small at all. In fact it looked very reasonably sized, especially at a menu price of $7. It was also packed full of pork--another good sign.

On the downside, and it's a matter of personal preference, but I like a lot of pickled daikon and carrots and jalapeno slices on my bahn mi and this one barely had a thread of daikon or carrots. Although it did have a decent amount of jalapeno slices.

My issue at that point was dare I attempt to get the attention of the snapping scowler to see if I could get some more daikon and carrots. Ultimately, I decided it best not to chance it so I went ahead and ate it as served.

The pork was very flavorful and had there been an ample serving on daikon and carrots it would have been a winner. As for other condiments, they had a hot pepper oil that was tasty but nothing special. There was also a green sauce that looked homemade but again was not that flavorful. The other provisions on the table were your usual Asian restaurant fare including the ever popular rooster sauce.

If I'm feeling brave I might go back at some point to try another bahn mi and might be so bold as to ask for extra carrots and daikon … or I might try to find one somewhere else.

I got veggie pho and added rare steak, and it was excellent. Fresh ingredients, lots of veggies, and the steak was perfect. Also has solid service and large clean bathrooms. Great find, definitely coming back!
