Food and drinks were good that’s why there are 2 stars. Our waitress was fine but while were sitting on the patio we noticed that there were 5 people in Salty uniforms sitting at the bar, our waitress included, and even a manager from the looks of it. They were swearing and we even witnessed a server and even the manager(we assume) take a shot of alcohol. Super unprofessional, I get that it’s slow, but it did not look good. 5/21/23 at 7:11 pm.

Chicken fajitas were delicious. We also shared a fundido cheese dip. Which also was very delicious. I went for a pitcher size of margaritas because we were told that the spicy margarita was the way to go by a friend in Seattle. I didn't really care for it so my husband drink most of it. He should have definitely gotten a buzz. And he did not. So I would say it was probably sorely lacking in alcohol for the price..The young man who brought our food out was an absolute pleasure. The young lady that was serving us seemed a little disinterested.I will end again though by saying that the food was delicious.

Food came out, no silverware on the table. Had to walk to the front just to ask for silverware? Never been to a restaurant in my entire LIFE without given utensils before the food comes out. This was just the beginning to a disastrous meal. We then realized the food was wrong. I ordered chicken enchiladas, beef enchiladas came out. My buddy ordered a carne asada burrito and enchiladas came out for him. Confusing. Initially our food came out lighting fast but the remake took 10-15 minutes... Then only one remade meal comes out.. really? Couldn't even bring both together. So now we have 1 person with cold food. Another with remade meal and now me waiting another 5 for my remade enchiladas. Laughable honestly. Wasn't even going to take the time to write this review until my stomach started bubbling an hour after the meal. On top of that, multiple tables had trash sitting for long period of time and the entire bar had leftover plates, cups and trash all over for our entire meal, we couldn't believe no one was cleaning anything up. Just a disastrous experience at Salty. They did give us 25% off for the wait however $3 off isn't enough to keep me as a customer after all that. Will never be returning! This was an honest, non bias review. Unfortunate for myself and Salty. Be better... UPDATE : Next day my stomach is still queasy, last thing I ate was the remade enchiladas from Salty. Avoid this establishment at all costs. Do yourself a favor and go to Diego Pops up the street. Will never return

I give this place a one because we sat down and after setting for over 15 minuets, we still didn’t have a server to greet us. I could have understand if the place was busy but it wasn’t. I asked the lady who seated us if we were supposed to order for ourselves and she told us there will be a server momentarily but there wasn’t so we left. A group of four who would have spent way over a $100 dollars.

Visiting Old Scottsdale from out of state and looking for lunch I saw past reviews for Salty Senorita that basically said good food, lousy service. Well, I'm all about good food and will tolerate mediocre service so I thought our little group would take shot at Salty Senorita. We were greeted by a hostess sitting down reading a magazine with her dog and water bowl and blaring loud music. Not a great start so far. Well we were greeted by our waitress, Anastasia and our party had questions for her about menu items. She was less than helpful not because she wasn't willing but rather because she didn't know the menu very well. We ordered two chopped salads with regular ranch dressing, another salad with grilled chicken instead of steak, and a seafood enchilada. The result? Two chopped salads with jalapeños ranch dressing, a salad with steak and the seafood enchiladas. The waitress did not know they didn't have regular ranch dressing and didn't know why the mixup with the chicken/steak happened. We returned the steak salad and it took at least 10-15 min to get it redone. We settled for the chipotle vinaigrette dressing. That was just the preliminary event, however. My wife was 3/4's of the way through her salad when she found a long grey hair in it! The result was she felt sick to her stomach. I spoke to the manager who apologized and took off the salad off the bill and offered to comp a dessert. We ordered the churro with chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The final straw? No vanilla ice cream! We were done! Takeaway? 1. Servers should know their menu and what they serve. They should also set their customers expectations. 2. Servers should pay attention to what their customers order and make sure they get what they order. 3. The back of the house should prepare and serve food appropriately without foreign objects. 4. If comping any meal item to make amends get it right! I know what I'm talking about as I've worked in food service in the back of the house and in management for many years. This experience was unacceptable. I will not recommend Salty Senorita

Very slow, dirty menus, dirty water glasses. Decided to not stay as it wasn’t starting out well, we liked that there was outside dining but it just didn’t feel great. We’d walked a long way and were hungry, tired, and thirsty, but not enough to settle for a mediocre dining experience.

Sat at bar. Loved the ambience. Great tap beers. Great chips n salsa. Salsa had nice depth of flavor and chips were light but held up to the dipping. The 3 street taco selections great: fish shrimp ground beef steak awesome options! Bar tenders very attentive to our needs. And fried ice cream is great way to end great meal. And the real clencher was the manager was able to still use my 50$ gift certificate purchased in 2015! Way to go Salty Senorita!

The food was great however, Madison, who was my server was horrific. She didn't smile or seem like she enjoyed her job. I understand that everyone has bad days but it just seemed like she didn't care. She walked by a number of times and didn't check to see if we needed anything. Left dirty plates sitting on the table when our entrees arrived. It just put a damper on the mood of the evening. Like I said the food was great, but I wouldn't want her to be my server again.

I would give a higher rating because the food was wonderful. What wasn't was the service. We were there last night, we are from out of town visiting our daughter. Madison was our server. She is not a happy person, didn't smile and shouldn't be the face of this establishment. We had to ask for our waitress several times, she wouldn't knowledge us when she walked by. We had to ask for to go boxes and when we had to track her down to pay, she said she was too busy with her tables outside.

The tacos here are unbelievable. You can't miss the bacon guacamole. This is a great place in Old Town Scottsdale I will definitely return again and again
