This is the first Paleo dedicated restaurant I've been to. I have been eating Paleo for about 12 years and have been eyeing this place for almost as long and finally made the hour drive for my birthday dinner. 5 stars all around. Love that it's fine dining. They also do meal prep but I haven't tried that. I had the French onion soup, Paleo bread appetizer with pork belly, filet mignon, lamb, kombucha and creme brulee (it's more like chocolate mousse). I recommend them all.Dietary restrictions: Paleo, gluten free, AIP veggie sub

Really unique place. Paleo based (which is not something I would normally seek out) with French I fluence and BYOB w minimal corkage fee. A quaint local spot with surprisingly large portions and elevated cuisine.I had the veggie plate which is quite literally a mix of everything the chef has in the kitchen so I had a mix of cauliflower soup, stuffed squash, mixed veggies. My husband enjoyed his French onion soup and duck. I was pleasantly surprised with this unassuming place.Vegetarian options: 2 Vegan options and several appropriate for vegetarian but this is Paleo based and fairly meat heavy

I was hunting for something off the radar for a family dinner and this Paleo, women-owned, BYOB restaurant checked all of the boxes. We opted for delivery, but none of the quality was missed. The Sapiens Salad was so fresh and enough for a full meal. The Sapiens Burger was superb. I have never tried a Paleo/gluten-free hamburger bun before and was pleasantly surprised. Very happy that we found a new neighborhood spot and I can't wait to dine in next time.

Visited the area and hard to find 100% GF restaurant and AIP options..we had stuffed mushrooms, meatloaf, kiddo had chicken and veggies kids meal and hubby had their burger and it did not disappoint, hubby isnt GF but was impressed. Now I know to order in advance as the chef cooks from scratch and can take some time but worth the wait! Will be back!

I love this place. The food is innovative, creative and delicious. You will get food here that you can't get anywhere else. The restaurant is small but you feel like you are not crowded. Good music at a respectable volume. Service was great.

We shared an appetizer, and it was very good, stuffed mushrooms. My salad was good but nothing special . My friend had a burger and said it was horrible. Service was very good. Staff was attentive and made sure our water glasses were always full. Lighting is too dark for comfort. It seems to want to be to a Boho cozy place. It could be, but needs more color and a separate bathroom for men and women. Probably will not look to be here again, for a long while.

This is a small, cozy restaurant, with good service, but the food was absolutely terrible. Hopefully the owner is reading this as you need a new chef. We ordered 3 filets and 1 ordered chicken. All were overcooked and very tough. My steak was cooked well done while I ordered medium. It was remade, but was medium outside and rare inside. Had to cook again, and was better in color, but the steak was tough and not tasty at all. I have eaten a lot of steaks, grass fed, and this one was not good at all. Plus, the size of the steak couldn’t have been more than 4 oz. The vegetables were hard and undercooked. No one at the vegetables. My wife is allergic to a lot of foods, so was hoping this would be our new gig.

Three of us went to Sapiens to celebrate 2 of our January birthdays. We did not have any appetizers. We ordered the lamb shank, an ahi special and a 24 oz steak special. We waited a very long time to get our food. Service was average at best even though when we arrived hardly anyone was there- only 1 other table. It was nice to be able to bring our own wine, though a $15 corking fee is very high. The steak was good but marblization was low so not as juicy as it could and should have been. The lamb shank was just suspended over a container of a few root vegetables and an overly salty sauce. The shank had good flavor but was not juicy and seemed a little dried out. The ahi was a very generous sized piece. My friend said it was good, though the bite I had seemed dry. I was super excited about trying this place but see no reason to go back, sadly. And by the way our reservation said it was for a birthday but not one word about that from the staff.

It was a nice small little place. Music was a little loud for a small place. The food was ok, all the bread was really dry, and it would fall apart as you eat it. We order the bread platter, brueschtta, and the Sapiens burger. All the food was ok, not enough for us to come back to this place.Dietary restrictions: The menu is great for anyone with gluten, oils, and dairy restrictions
