Nice lunch. Nice outdoors atmosphere. No one to take your order, you order from your phone...

A couple weeks ago I happened to literally walk by Schmooze. Coincidentally I needed to find a brunch spot for a last-minute Bridal Brunch. The second I walked by I knew it had to be Schmooze. The owner, Tony, has put a lot of work into developing the patio & it shows. I felt as if I had been transformed to a European patio. Schmooze does not take reservations but allowed us to use the back patio. It was perfect for our brunch. Plenty of space and private. Plus I loved that people individually ordered at the counter or via QR code so there was no awkwardness with splitting the bill. Now for the food. 10/10 recommend. I got the Egg BLT breakfast sandwich but requested the croissant. It was delicious. The croissant was perfectly flaky. Best one I've had West of the Atlantic. Others in the party ordered the Seared Salmon Salad, BBQ quesadilla, Mediterranean Omelette, and Chilaquiles. Everyone loved their food. This was my first time to Schmooze and I will definitely be back!!

The advertisement for the Hot chocolate is misleading. The picture used does not represent the actual product. The management claims that it's only a stock image. I had higher expectations from downtown Scottsdale.

Beautiful Cafe! When stepping through the gates it is like you have left the main drag and you are in a garden. The outside is a beautiful garden. Being able to have my dog sit with me as I enjoyed my coffee was great. The coffee and food was also great, so was the service.

Went to Schmooze today with my wife and two daughters for brunch. They have a very nice, scenic outdoor patio, but the service is pretty much automated (no wait staff)—yet they ask you for a 20 percent tip after you place your online order. Food is average at best with a very basic menu. With so many awesome breakfast/brunch places in Scottsdale, there will be no reason for us to return. If they didn’t have the nice patio, they would probably be out of business.

Excellent patio coupled with high quality food and timely service. Hard to beat schmooze for a morning/afternoon patio hang in Scottsdale.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space for us to find a patio table with our infant. Not too noisy for a sleeping baby.

Beautiful place to have breakfast or coffee. Covered with trees and little fountains around. Food is delicious, even my 3 dollar 2 pieces of toast and jam. Service is ok. I mean what we’re tipping for.. but I would definitely come back!

Food was good. The patio is beautiful but my experience was not good. Talk to the owner/ manager Tony regarding the lack of communication with ordering food. He was very rude and condescending. My other experience was with the bartender over my order. She was very rude and dismissive. I would not recommend this place.

Very nice patio and ambiance but don't bring a laptop to get any work done, the owner came out to harass me and later another table for using our laptops. Food was good but dry, service was ok but the staff seemed depressed, probably because they have to work for that guy. Overall didn't feel welcome and had a bad experience.

I was really disappointed. After finishing the bowl (4222) I was still hungry. I am a 120 pounds, a man must be starving! I I ordered Black tea and was not told it was Earl Grey (ick) you expect black tea to be regular. It was 4.75 and NO free refill. $1.62 for a refill, what a rip. I won't be going back.

This place is scenic and spacious. Originally, I thought that there was no space, but this location is like a maze (in a library type of good way). This place has outdoor, indoor, bar, and other locations. There are water fountains and cool marble counters. The entire place seems like a museum.Food: pricey but delicious. Worth it!The service was great. They ask you to seat yourself, and immediately, someone came over to meet us. The location was huge, but they still paid lots of attention.Atmosphere: iconic. Workers, meetings, groups, and personal lunches were all happening at once. Quiet in some areas and loud in other areas. Multiple views and seating that fit your pleasure.Overall: great experience!!Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian portions and portions. Just ask :)Dietary restrictions: Ask and you shall receiveParking: Parking is the only issue as it is in the heart of old Town Scottsdale. Limited parking all around.

Why do I tip when you don’t do any serving? I don’t tip when I get my own water and order from the table. Peeves me. So entitled.
