We've had ice cream from Scoop and Joy a couple of years ago while visiting from California. It was SO good that we decided to find it and enjoy it again. We were not disappointed! The ice cream is the best and servings are generous. The owner is delightful. She engaged with each customer personally. Interestingly, we all had familiar insights and experiences. We were told ownership would be changing soon but the new owner would keep the joy! We'll be back!
Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is bright and joyful. I think kids would love it. Plus, there's ice cream. Why wouldn't they be happy?

Our family loves Scoop & Joy and have been long time fans (long before they moved to the Via de Ventura location). Love the complimentary surprise with ice cream orders (even offered to the big kids aka grown ups lol). Aside from Ice cream, they also offer coffee and boba which is a nice option when only the kiddos are in the mood for ice cream. They also had a fantastic pumpkin cream cheese muffin that was to die for. May need to call and see if this is still in rotation 🥰

i understand that a big group of people can be overwhelming but our service wasn’t the best and neither was the food. By the looks of past reviews you are going to give me a sassy reply because of my opinion and that’s fine but maybe this is why u have some bad reviews. I understand there were other people in line but we were SO rushed.
Great little spot! High quality ice cream, lots of unique flavors, something for everyone, and courteous staff!

The flavor selection is unmatched and SO delicious! The surprises are such a great touch! The store is absolutely immaculate as well. Don’t skip a visit!
