John Y. the business owner is not the classiest when it comes to reading reviews and feedback. I left a review on my other account yesterday right after we ordered while eating our food (see pic). I don't write tons of reviews in general as I'm too busy but this place was so bad I had to pursue. John then goes out of his way to tell me my review is fake. Look at receipt from yesterday John Y. Check your orders to confirm as we know there aren't many orders to scroll through. See updated pics of his direct message to me on my other account. Don't eat this place. Owner is a jerk who can't take criticism.

Just had this place for first time. Was very excited to go as it has a cool name in a nice part of town. Wow what a fail... prices are reasonable but food is horrible and that's probably why no guests were there when we stopped by. The fried chicken sandwich is a frozen chicken patty. The burger was half the size of the bun. We couldn't even eat the onion rings as they were over fried. The chili cheese fries were nothing special. Chicago dog tasted ok. I have no idea how this place expects to survive when they serve sub par food in an area of town with tons of great places to eat.

Excellent burger and menu! Came here after a hike and craving a burger - we had been to their pita restaurant nextdoor and liked it so decided to give Burger Bar a try. Hit the spot! Bbq burger for me - very tasty - spouse got a club burger which he liked, one kid got a Chicago dog which he raved had a ln actual snap to it, and accompanied by the classic neon green relish and celery salt. Other son got Italian beef which he said was as good as Portillo's ()! I didn't try it so I can't vouch for that bold statement, but it looked very good. Fries were hot and crispy and I preferred them to the onion rings, which were standard fare but decent. Only improvement would be to warm the buns a bit - they were pretty cold, but that is the only bit pick I have! Can't wait to go back and try some other things!

The food is mediocre but it does the trick if you're in the mood for a quick retro burger experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Whomever the young man working the front of house was on November 9th during lunch should be given a raise! He is exceptional at his job.Fun place and the food will fill your belly without breaking the bank. Ordered 3 hotdogs and large fry for 2 people. 25 minutes later, no food for dine in. People two orders behind us got their hamburgers first. Guy ordered pick up for office lunch to pick up at noon, at 12:40, still no food for him or us! First, how HARD is it to put hot dogs together? Second, glad your busy but staffing is awful! They refunded...but when we left, after 25 minutes, they still were not preparing our meal... Jalapeño's is it! So the owner states that this was my 'first review' on yelp... well, if the service wasn't so poor, i wouldn't have wasted my time. Because I like TID, Spiga, Mastro's ...and that only what is somewhat near me. Otherwise, we'll do Vegas.

Ordered off of Uber Eats as they were running a buy 1 burger, get 1 free special - decided to give it a shot. (Mushroom and swiss burger) Without question, the worst burger i have ever eaten. There are gas station burgers that have MUCH higher quality than what i received. I would not feed these burgers to stray dogs, it was that bad.
