We had a lovely evening here. The restaurant is very cozy and romantic, with a warm atmosphere and lovely service. The chef’s menu is thoughtfully put together, and we enjoyed what we ordered. That said, we would have loved to see a few more vegetarian options. I had noted in the reservation that one of us is vegetarian, and while the host asked who it was when we arrived, we were then given two identical menus and the topic wasn’t mentioned again. Our server also didn’t acknowledge it, which felt a bit odd especially after being asked, but it didn’t ultimately take away from the evening. Overall, we had a good time, enjoyed the food and the ambiance, and would happily come back.

We came here when it was Sel and wanted to try the new bistro style format. It did not disappoint. Steak tartar was great, a little over salted, but still delicious. My favorite was the scallop aguachile and the octopus! The Southern Cardinal mocktail was delicious! Service and food pacing were a little slow, but it looked like there was only one server for the patio and indoors and one cook the whole night. Our server, Moses, was great and anticipatory. We will definitely be back!

We came for a lovely dinner on Saturday evening at 5:15p. It was decently quiet when we arrived and began to pick up in pace around 6:30p. I believe the restaurant went through a makeover of sorts and it’s absolutely beautiful and makes for a wonderful ambiance. The food was delicious! Recommended to order a 3 or so apps and/or small plates and then one entree to share between two people. We ordered two small plates, split an entree and then had room for dessert to feel comfortable. We ordered the lamb dumplings to start, followed by the jumbo crab and finished with the tiramisu. All dishes were delicious, perfectly balanced in flavor and richness.

Sel is truly exceptional. The food is top-notch, the steak is absolutely drool-worthy, and the seafood options are just as impressive. Every dish feels intentional, with a beautifully well-thought-out menu and layered, balanced flavors. The intimate setting makes it a perfect romantic date-night spot. One of those places you keep thinking about long after the meal is over.
Incredible experience. They were very willing to modify things for my girlfriend's dietary restrictions and made up a dish on the spot for her. I had the filet mignon and it totally floored me. Great ambience and amazing food and the staff was so awesome. Really nice and very invested in their customers. An amazing experience.
