BEST soft serve ice cream I have ever had!!!!! With all the specialty menu items they have, it is hard to pin a favorite of all the choices!

Banana split was phenomenal. The prices were good for the portion sizes and the person working up front was great!

Wesley and Justin are the BEST! To have servers that take such care with allergy concerns and are just so kind wow we are blown away. Shakes and cones has always been one of our favorites but the service level really blew me and my husband away. Thank you!!

My bf and I stopped in because they offer vegan options. We were both happy with our choices :)

“Shakes & Cones is the Best ice cream parlor in Old Town Scottsdale!!!!! The organic soft serve is absolutely delicious, and I Love that it’s gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan-friendly—something for everyone! Friendly service and a feel-good dessert that you won’t regret. My family and I Highly recommend it. In fact, my children have gone there several times without me, and that is just wrong, lol! Try it out! You won’t be disappointed.

They have a lot of non dairy options (using the same vanilla base). The non dairy ice cream is good, very creamy and not watery like some other plant based soft serve can be. The shakes are a little too thick--to the point where they aren't shakes and are served with a spoon instead of a straw--but the regular ice cream options were good.

Ice cream drinkers beware! You will not be able to drink this ice cream! They say they’re shakes but they serve big ol cups of soft serve. I was concerned that all their crazy toppings wouldn’t be blended in but rather mixed in like a Blizzard. Alas, my concerned proved worthy. They did in fact blend in the Oreos but it was so dang thick that you’d need an industrial grade sucker to get that stuff up a straw into your mouth. It was served with a spoon luckily, but why even call it a shake? Maybe cuz I’m shook at how unlike a milkshake this desert was…good ice cream though.

Stale nuts, poor service and extremely disrespectful staff. Refused to remake it without nuts and told me to go write a review. So here we are.

Phoenix is a car dependent city. There is a lack of comfortable seating.

Soon to be my go-to dessert spot in greater Phoenix! Some of the smoothest/most creamy dairy-free/vegan dessert I've had. They have a few topping choices for vegans too.

A walk up window in a busy section of Scottsdale, there are a few tables outside (covered), but most people were just eating and walking to their next destination .

There is free street parking for 3hrs.

I’ve know this spot for years now. A fun family friendly spot to get a cool bit during the hot months and an equally great spot for the winter adventures. David and his team are amazing.
