Friendly and quick service. A lot of choices and the ice cream is delicious. Don’t pass on the root beer float! It was delicious! Great way to cool down with the Arizona heat!

Take a step back in time and enjoy everything on the menu. Located in old town Scottsdale,AZ!

Sooooo… went here because I’ve drove by it a million times. Nothing bad per se… to report but definitely an uncomfortable place to eat. Oddly quit and bland. The decor has a cool pink theme but I’ll definitely not be back. The host was ok but definitely not super friendly. We also went at 11:45am so it should have been busier….

Stopped in last Friday for a traditional banana split. What a treat! Absolutely delicious. A little slow getting service at first, but the server was so sweet and the dessert came so quickly, we didn't mind at all. If you're new in town and love delicious ice cream in a vintage setting, don't miss this Scottsdale landmark!

Been visiting since the 70s. Great old time ice cream parlor with really good food.

It's worth it just to see this old fashioned ice cream parlor, preserved in It's 1958 splendor. The ice cream is good, great choices, but I go for the memories!

My cousin who's visiting from Michigan told me about this place. It was an v awesome experience. Loved seeing the old Family Circus comic strip on the walls. Brought back memories!

Such a fun little gem. The selections of sundaes is plentiful and the ice cream was creamy. I always make a point to stop in when in Old Town.

This place is filled with nostalgia. My grandparents used to spend the winter in Scottsdale, and I would fly out during school breaks to see them. My grandma introduced me to this place, and we went here at least twice every time I visited. Whenever I am in the PHX area, I always make a stop here.

This place is straight out of the 60s, pink walls, diner booths, and the kind of vibe that makes you feel like you should be wearing a leather jacket and ordering a sundae with a jukebox playing in the background. The ice cream was everything you want ice cream to be, cold, creamy, and full of flavor. I went with a double scoop because I keep it simple, and it was spot on. My partner got a parfait and it looked like something straight out of a magazine, stacked and layered perfectly.

The best part is you actually sit down, order, and it comes out made fresh, none of this “stand in line, get scooped, and shuffle away” routine. Portions were generous, the flavors were dialed in, and the whole place just nails that classic throwback charm.

If you have not been here yet, fix that. Seriously. It is ice cream that tastes like happiness, nostalgia, and childhood all mixed together, and it is absolutely worth the stop.

Sugar Bowl is an absolute gem! If you're looking for real American-style ice cream, this is the place to go. Their flavors are rich, creamy, and full of character, you can tell they use quality ingredients and traditional recipes. It truly feels like a classic American ice cream experience, which is rare to find!

The atmosphere is just as delightful: warm, friendly, and full of charm. Whether you're dropping by with friends, family, or just craving something sweet on your own, Sugar Bowl makes you feel right at home. You can tell the team behind it really cares about what they do, and it shows in every scoop.

Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic ice cream and a great vibe!
