Great experience the first time second time food was sub
First time dining here for brunch on a Friday. We were a little late to our reservation but the hostess was nice and sat us right away. Atmosphere was chill & fun with a DJ, music was good and not too loud. I was able to talk to my partner without shouting. Our waiter was attentive and friendly and made some good recommendations. We started with the mimosa flight and the margarita flight. The margarita flight was ok but the mimosa flight was really good! We wound up ordering another after we finished our meal. The food was good as well. I ordered the catfish and grits which was pretty good. Needed to add a little salt to the grits. My partner had the fried lobster mac and cheese. The pasta was good and cheesy and the lobster was well seasoned! Overall, I really enjoyed this place and would come back on my next visit to AZ!

Chicken and waffles 🍗 🧇 were probably the best I have ever had 😍! The fried chicken 🍗 had a crispy batter, yet didn’t just crumble away like other places. Waffles were fluffy and accompanied by the best orange maple syrup!! 🍁 We did split the chicken & waffles and honestly that is a meal for two!!!
Those biscuits and gravy were delicious and you can tell they make it themselves.
Bloody Mary was good, I just regret not ordering a mimosa! 😫
Also, pretty unique they have a small little store where you can purchase pastries and some retail items! 🙌
4/5 ⭐️s only because inside the dining room you can’t really have a conversation because it’s very loud. 🎶 📻 🪩 They are definitely trying to have that fun vibe, but if you are having brunch with tea 😉 I’d recommend sitting on the patio. You are still able to enjoy the music 🎶 without it being overwhelming.
Patio seating was fantastic and there were plenty of umbrellas. ☀️ 😎 I would highly suggest making a reservation ahead of time, ☎️ due to how busy they can get especially on the weekends.

Food was 10/10. Jade was a great server. I honestly came because I saw Desiree on TikTok and loved her energy. I wanted to request her as a server but learned she didn’t work that position. Nonetheless she gives amazing energy to the establishment!

The food is always good, the server was friendly and the dj kept the energy in the room. The establishment’s practices not so much. A friend of mine came into town and I immediately recommended Sugar Jam for brunch for the vibes and food. Luckily we were able to get a reservation for two. It took about 20 mins to be seated and they placed us at a table for 6 and another couple were on the end and left. The food was very quickly served which is a plus and as we were ready to dig in, the hostess came to the table and asked us to move to accommodate a party of 6! We were shocked! When they sat us at the table knowing our party size of two. My friend asked can we eat our food first at least and reiterated to the hostess she was aware of our party size prior to seating. However she strongly asked us to move to another table. The server was embarrassed and tried to do service recovery with two shots of well tequila… I appreciated her efforts but it didn’t leave a good impression for the establishment to want to bring out of town guests here or me to return when we spent over $150. I’d strongly suggest better service recovery and/or not ask guests to move tables during a meal to accommodate others when we’re patronizing your business as well.

Beautiful vibe and the D.J. was playing nothing but the best music. Wish their bakery was still open though. Food and drinks was good.

The food was not great at all. Very bland. The atmosphere was ok. Definitely not worth the hype or price. My whole family didn’t care for the food. The music was ok. But yeah I won’t be back. But if you liked their food, that’s ok! Everyone has their own opinion. I just happened to not like it.

Fabulous food, great DJ (very loud, but in a good way), server was very good and friendly. They squeezed our party of 9 into a table for 8 while the table next to us set empty throughout our meal.
