Sushi Crush

It is a very nice place to eat at. You can dine inside or outside. The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The prices are very competitive. After 2 pm there is a menu you can pick from and the prices are less. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great atmosphere, great food and friendly staff

Very cute place but the entire time we got no napkins, we didn’t get little sauce cups for our soy sauce, we had to get up and grab them from empty tables. Also, the food positions were small. Smallest sushi rolls at a restaurant I’ve had. The wasabi portion was enough for one person and we had more than 2. Very disappointing, even for happy hour.

The food was really good, not super stinky type of fishy. The service was prompt and nice, sometimes the waitress forgot about things we asked for which is okay- it happens. Small spot but feels spacious and welcoming/calm. My boyfriend and I come here with our friend every so often.

I've been a customer for more than 5 years, the food quality has become very bad from my last two visits to abdoun branch, the sushi is sticky and has a bad smell, the last visit was the worst, the sushi tasted bad and the sea weed was very sticky it was practically inedible, we informed the staff of this issue and even asked them to try it for themselves before returning the rolls that had sea weed, they took the whole order and we had to wait for 45 minutes only to know that they insisted on making a new order after we lost our appetite and that we should simply obey and take the entire order home with us, the staff was very rude beyond belief to the extent that they said that they doubt there was even any issue with the order from the beginning, and we told them that we asked them to try their rolls before returning the order in the first place, their answer was very rude, that they didn't receive any complains that day so our complaint doesn't make sense. Although I was a very happy customer with sushi crush, the lack of manners and professionalism by their staff was definitely a deal breaker for me, we did call a manager from sushi crush that said they indeed are experiencing some issues with sea weed and that he will follow up on the issue, we never heard from him. Never again going back or recommending this restaurant.

The food is always excellent, the sushi chefs and wait staff are always very friendly and kind. This is our Goto sushi spot. We love it!

Good sushi for the right price considering every other sushi place closes early!! The crab puffs are delicious.

So the first thing I noticed was the amount of salt in everything. My miso soup was almost inedible ...I understand that it's usually salty but this was over the top. And then, I went to have some soy sauce with my sushi and it was horribly salty. It tasted like they mixed water and salt together and dyed it brown. I couldn't even eat it, so I ate my sushi without it. Which the sushi was just OK, would not go back for it. A little fishy tasting and there are much better sushi places around.
Also- we ordered a bunch of rolls and apps from the paper menu where you just check off what you want. When the waitress came over I handed it to her and said we also would like an order of shrimp fried rice. The rice was taking forever so I mentioned it to another girl and was told it was being made. 10 min later that girl came back and said they forgot to put it in, and asked again what we wanted. We were pretty much done eating everything else by the time the rice came-it was a very long time. I will say the fried rice was pretty good.
Overall between the service and food, I don't understand how this restaurant has 4.5 stars. Sorry but it's not good.

True story… My old sushi spot closed and we tried Sushi Crush on a whim. Ester was our server and we found our new go to place! Service was fantastic, food was amazing, and they do happy hour all day, every day after 2:00PM!

Couldn’t be happier to find our new Scottsdale sushi spot!

So glad I finally tried this place. I ordered a spicy crab roll for lunch and it was ready for pickup in under ten minutes and it was bursting with flavor! I was also pleased that it had cost me under $8 as lunch for that price is almost unheard of these days. The restaurant smelled good and had a very nice ambience. Will be back again.
