Sushi Sen is an excellent authentic Japanese Restaurant. Similiar to Sushi Den in my opinion it's bigger brother in Denver, Colorado. This place special and very clean. The staff is professional/hard working. The meals are delicious. You will not be disappointed.

Atmosphere was nice but got pressured by the server to accept a dish that we hadn't ordered because she misheard it and had several orders of sushi that were just plain inedible: the seaweed wrapper was so chewy that you could almost not get through it. Several of the salads were also really rough with a ton of raw spinach. The rice in the sushi was flavorless and super gummy and hard to chew. Just can't recommend it.

Always filled with customers, getting your servers' attention is the closest to negative. 1/2 Japanese & it's nice to see the traditional pickled vegetables & futomaki on the menu.

The japanese waitresses are incredibly unfriendly here, they would put down our food with force as if trying to chase us out. They asked if we needed anything but did not wait for a response and just sped on very purposefully. It actually felt quite racist as I took a glance around and realized they were the complete opposite with people of a certain race. Utterly shameful and disgusting service, hard to understand how there are still people like this in big cities.

The sushi and ramen were very good! Highly recommended the spicy tonkotsu ramen.

Sushi Sen..... sational? Maybe... the Squid Salad might be the freshest I've had, ever! And that is where the most impressive part of lunch stopped. It wasn't bad by any means. Cucumber salad looked like it was a portion for a child. The fried baby Octopus was boring, and we had a baked scallop cali roll. A crunch roll and the best was the Delux Dragon roll, but even that was just ok. The service... was rushed, lacked any personality, kind of like the entire atmosphere of the place. No ambiance at all. No music, no conversation from the staff to ask if we had questions, felt very rushed to order yet they were not busy...

Personally, I will not be back. I won't recommend it just because there are way better experiences for sushi around most corners nowadays.

Side notes - No room for a stroller, they made my neice take hers back to the car. And they have these unsanitary/unnecessary half curtains at smack you in the face level for the bathroom entrance - Why???

Very authentic Japanese restaurant and very friendly staff. But a little pricy...

This was my third time dining here. The previous two were great experiences, with outstanding food and service, so I’m hoping today was just an off day. I usually enjoy taking my time to savor my meal, but this time, I felt rushed. When my partner and I sat down and placed our initial order, I asked to keep the menu, but the server seemed unwilling to let me do so. After that, she never checked on us, not even once. Anytime we wanted to order more food, we had to flag down kitchen runners instead. To make matters worse, our last order never arrived, and we eventually had to cancel it before leaving.

Maybe it was just an off night, but it was disappointing to feel overlooked.

By the color of it. You can tell they used canned lump crab. Highly not recommended to come waste your money here. Also our margaritas had no alcohol in it. Server was lacking any sense of urgency as well and comes and ask if we’re done. Definitely not coming back.
