I have to say this is one of my favorite sushi spots in Scottsdale! It’s a cute tiny little sushi restaurant in a strip mall but damn is everything super fresh and authentic! When you walk in you feel like you’ve been transformed into a little sushi shop in Tokyo and the entire staff speaks Japanese! The sashimi and the nigiri’s are sooo fresh and the piece of fish are huge and little rice!!! It is on the pricier side of things but I guess you have to pay for good quality! I’m a huge fan of Uni (sea urchin) and it’s really hard to find high quality ones especially in Arizona. But OMG their uni at this restaurant I don’t know where the chef sources it from. I can tell it’s def from Japan maybe Hokkaido! Wow the sweetest and freshest Uni I’ve had in a long time and that’s even compared to having it from the source when I go to Japan! And they give you sooo much uni in each nigiri it’s just a mouth full of happiness!!! It is $25 for two pieces but sooo worth it! Also highly recommend unagi, the piece of unagi is sooo big you need to take two bites and it melts in your mouth!!!

If you love pure high quality sushi than def come here. The rolls all look amazing too!!!

Today’s visit was unacceptable.

The restaurant was not busy. The food was fine, but the service failed completely. Our masked server dropped off the food and never returned. She remained near the kitchen, seemingly focused on the owner and trying to appear busy, while the other servers were attentive and served their tables professionally.

We depended on another server for sauces, to place an order, and to pay the bill. My husband had to locate our server multiple times.

A 20% tip was still left, but only because another server assisted us. I do not recommend this restaurant if you don’t want to ruin a precious day over one meal.

DO NOT go here. Very disappointed food quality and quantity. The curry gave us diarrhea. Poor service, rude attitude, and overpriced items.

This restaurant had all three of my wants checked. Good food, good atmosphere, and good service. I cannot express to you the quality of this place and highly recommend it. I will mention that it is a smaller location so call ahead and reserve if you can.

WOW this place has some of the most racist people i have ever met, they treated all non black customers but did not take my families order. We waited and then left. They didn't ask if everything was OK or try to remedy the situation to save a potential future customer. Never have I been treated like that, as a US Veteran that served this country, it's very disheartening that we still have people who judge you based on the way you were born. Wish I could give a negative 0. I really hope they reflect and get rid of the hate in their hearts. Treat everyone fairly.

This was my first time here. Me and my family and friends were the first ones there literally at opening. We were showed a table then for almost and hour as others came in was not helped. Our table was passed multiple times. Everyone else around us was helped and they came after us. (Me and my family are Black.) Me and my family noticed what was going on and understood, so we respectfully left and will not be back.

I went here while visiting my friend on vacation. Now I’m white however We went with her mom and two cousins who are black. We got here right at happy hour and were the first ones in the door and seated. A waitress came to ask our drink orders and we all got water. Had sat down at 4:30 and nobody stopped by our table ever again. No questions for help with the menu or anything. All the staff avoided eye contact with us paying us no attention while everyone else around us (white or Asian) had already gotten all of their food. We had known what we wanted for about 15 minutes and left after realizing why we weren’t being helped.

If I could give this place a - star I would. My group arrived first and was seated first, they gave us our drinks and that was it. Everyone around us came in after ordered and received food. Even those who came in 15 minutes after. The kicker is my group was majority black Americans. They ignored us and didn’t even make eye contact. We did not stay, we will not be giving this place our service.

Just walked out of this establishment with 4 of my girls, we were the first in at 430pm, we received water and menus, and that is it. Multiple people came in after us and got food and drinks. We waited patiently but was ignored. I dont like to play thr race card but if we are the only people of color and the only ones not being served- what could be the reason? It was degrading and a shame to be treated this way in my own country by foreigners.

Got the bento combo…you choose from a list of items; poke, hamburga and negitoro don were fire. Took me back to Japan.

I order the Bento Combination shirmp 🍤 tempura and vegetables came with white and the sauce so delish I say and no complaints 😋

Great sushi! They have $5 rolls, you just have to ask them which ones they are.
