Not what I expected but it would be fun if you go with someone. Chef was knowledgeable. The lay out was rough I had to keep going in circles to throw garbage away and I kept getting in the way of others each time. Wish I could have seen chef complete a recipe to learn more. Recipes came out great everyone did an awesome job.

Went for a couples date night meal and wouldn't go back. Staff was great but we didn't know what to expect. Each course of the meal is prepared by a different couple, so at the mercy of their cooking ability. Lots of waiting around, and by the time we did eat everything was cold, it was attempted to be reheated but not given nearly enough time to reheat. So we paid $200 and i got two chunks of cold ribeye (actually one, cuz one of them was inedible due to it being 99%fat and gristle). For $100 per person id like to cook everything myself and have my own steak. This is just not set up for that. it is what it is. wont return.

My family attended a Spanish tapas and paella cooking class here and we really enjoyed ourselves. This was our first experience in a big cooking class so we didn't know what to expect, but we all had a great time. Between the four of us, there's a variety of cooking skillsets so I appreciate that Chef Linda went through each recipe clearly and explained different techniques to use. This was super helpful for more beginner cooks, but I could see this being a little boring for those with more experience in the kitchen. The menu selection was excellent that day, and we loved sitting down to eat everything at the end of the class. All of the recipes were easy enough to follow along and replicate later. We made a bunch of them for our Christmas meal this year - so fun!

I had the pleasure to take a holiday cookie baking class at Sweet Basil this past weekend. The class was fun and the fact that we came home with a ton of cookies to eat was great. I do wish we could have made more than just 2 of the 14 types, but at least we went home with the recipes for all. I had a great time with my friend at the class and the shop attached is super cute. The oven work and cleaning was taken care of by the chef and her assistant.

I recently attended one of the holiday cookie classes and was extremely disappointed. More than half of the recipes that we prepared were "no-bake" and really are more of a candy than a cookie. It is advertised that you will leave the class with about 140 cookies that I thought I'd be giving as gifts but the majority of them were about marble size so more of a taste, not a cookie--plus we only left with about 100 "cookies" (term used loosely as they were mostly candies, not cookies). Most were very bland and ended up in my garbage can. No way am I giving these out as gifts. Very disappointed.

There website stated they had a cooking available on a Tuesday morning so when I went to call and book, The lady on the phone stated they no longer are having the class "due to the amount of people." I guess not enough people signed up so they aren't going to have the class which is very unfortunate since I was planning to do this for my boyfriend's birthday. I wish they took down the class because it gives the impression that it's available to new customers like myself. The lady on the phone then recommended to get a gift certificate. Why would I get a gift certificate to somewhere where they cancel their classes even when they promote them? WILL NEVER TRY AGAIN.

My husband and I had a great time! Chef Lisa was fun and informative. The end result was a good meal and new recipes to take home!

This is a fabulous cooking school. All the meals that we have made here are very good. We like to get a group of friends together and take a class. Only thing I would say that needs improvement is that one of the teachers doesn't always have lots of food for seconds. So sometimes I do not leave the class full. It is such a contrast to one of the teachers Jan Di'Atri who has way too much food (which I love). I feel that if you are paying that amount of money for a cooking class they should have enough food so that you leave full.

I've been here a few times for cooking classes and I have loved every single one of them! Some of the recipes I was taught are now regulars. This is such an incredible place, I love the setup and their system for classes! I highly recommend this place! A cooking class makes a great gift for your spouse, mom or best friend!

Sales person was very rude and unreasonable. During my first and last time shopping in the store, I accidentally broke a ceramic salt/pepper shaker. I tried to reach it on the shelf above my head and the items fell out of the box. They were not secured at all in the box. Sales clerk ran over and said that she expected me to pay for the item which I did. She then generously told me I could keep the broken item since I paid for it. Won't go back.

Marty is very rude and projects her own insecurities onto others. Go to WS better.

This morning my 15 year old took part in the kid’s cooking class. They prepared an amazing breakfast brunch that looked like a professional team put it together. It was delicious! My son has been talking about learning to cook for a number of months and this class just made him want more! Thank you to Jan and Lynn for letting my son learn on a patient and fun atmosphere. He talked about it the entire ride home. For a 15 year old to talk to you that much is impressive! He can’t wait to cook again! I have already recommended the school to friends on my social media!

What’s the point of buying a gift card that has no expiration on it and yet they tell you it’s expired. Don’t trust these guys. Would never buy again. Completely dissatisfied.

The old lady behind the counter who greeted us was very rude, condescending, and unwilling to help when my husband and I were asking simple questions regarding our cooking class reservation. This company truly has awful customer service. My advice is find a different company where you as the customer feels respected and your business is valued, this is not that place.
