Extremely overpriced for a cup of tea. Environment was very loud and couldn’t carry on a conversation with only a third of the place having anybody in it.

Asking for a tip to make a overpriced cup of tea is ridiculous. I’ll never go back.

I ordered their French donuts the three pack, and it was all all right not quite what I had expected. The consistency and texture of it was slightly different from what you would think. We also ordered a separate time and in this case it was specifically for their beverages and those were a lot tastier. They were exactly what you would expect from a cold brew Thai teas, and that sort of selection. if offered to me, I would definitely accept it, but it’s not something I would crave or take the initiative of experiencing again myself. The prices were good. They were reasonable. Nothing that would break the bank and I do like the fact that they have a drive-through that was very handy. Their timing is reasonable as well not super fast, but not too slow either But the equipment that they use for drive-through may need an update. I had to repeat myself quite a few times, so either of the equipment is not working or their employees might be too preoccupied inside while taking the order.

Visited for the first time to try them out. My sanwhich was cooked to crisp, no one wants burnt cheese. My hash browns were vile, basically greasy soggy mush that tasted metallic. I should have just went to chic-fil-a, it probably would have been cheaper anyways and significantly faster.

Update: I went back and the girl behind the counter got everything fixed, refunded me, and made me a better sanwhich. Thank you!

What a gem! I stopped by Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea in Scottsdale for the first time and was really impressed. They’ve got a great selection of both coffee and tea, and the lady at the register was super helpful. When I asked for a recommendation, she suggested the French Vietnamese coffee—and wow, it was absolutely delicious. It instantly reminded me of traditional South Indian filter coffee I grew up with. Smooth, rich, and comforting. I already can’t wait to go back just for that!

I also grabbed one of their sandwiches and the biscuit it came on was so soft and just perfect. Great food, great drinks, and the space itself has a nice ambiance—perfect for hanging out or even getting some work done.

Bonus: they have some amazing local artwork on display and for sale. Really cool selections for anyone who appreciates local artists.

Highly recommend checking this place out!

Didn’t eat food tried sample of tea & atmosphere was unwelcoming & unfriendly poorest service EVER! But the place did have beautiful smell & appearance.
I Came in for loose leaf tea there was only one person on laptop working. I wasn’t greeted or anything I approached counter asked if they sold loose leaf tea? I got a short yes. Then I asked which types & flavors as I was looking for green teas. He pointed to signage on counter & said those I looked it was coffee so I said that’s coffee & he replies oh it’s this one! No PERSONALITY NO NOTHING JUST DRY & so I turn to my daughter completely shocked & like how do we get past this treatment & my daughter says do you recommend any teas? He just said not I don’t like teas. And then another worker named Preston (who gave us his name) stated he did & we asked which he preferred & could we sample it? He gave us sample explained how many lbs we’d need to make the size they had in refrigerator. At this point the other worker is snidely looking at us smirking & walks away to get the teas we want to purchase. My daughter ask him is he ok why are we being mistreated die he not like the job or having a bad day we’re sorry If so but we’re here to SUPPORT! We drove all the way from chandler & this is treatment? So he just says no I just don’t like tea & still stays smirking rudely. There were 5 of us including my husband who we just walked outside bc the respect, atmosphere, treatment was horrific & we’re older not used to this new age disrespectful generation. We grew up when you had to have morals & respect! (60’s) nevertheless we still bought bc I am very in
Love with teas especially green tea & I couldn’t get to my regular place. I would have loved to frequent often as the menu & food looked very interesting & delicious. However this type of treatment is not ACCEPTABLE! I explained to Preston we own 2 businesses a food service & Mural Company & hv for over 25 yrs & never would accept this as customer service regardless if you have issues they are to remain outside of job bc customers pay YOUR BILLS! If you treat ppl poorly they stop patronizing your place then hv to cut staff & eventually close! I always TIP & go above to make my customers know I APPRECIATE THEIR DOLLAR FROM HARD WORKING MONEY! I can only hope the owners get this review & hv a serious talk with him bc he may be the reason they don’t stay open long or have more bad reviews & eventually it will hurt them. I hope the best & I will repost if the quality of teas surpasses treatment & service? It smells & tastes remarkably good.

It appears others hv had simile experience being ignored!!

Cute place but terrible coffee. Very weak and could not even taste the coffee. Just tasted like milk and sugar.

I used to be a regular at Sweetwater. I mean everyday I’d get an imperial black tea and a sandwich or some other food item but over the last two years it’s become very inconsistent. Sometimes (rarely now) my order would taste fine. But the other times my sandwich would be cooked to a crisp and the worst part would be that my tea was literally undrinkable. My immediate thought when I tasted it on these days is “oh this has been sitting for a couple weeks” or “is this moldy?” Or both because it’s been sitting? The first few times I’d have them remake my orders but it became such a regular problem I just quit going all together. I tried going again today because I was back in the area but same problem.

They make a great iced Chai latte and even milkshakes! The only downer is how exorbitant the food prices are.

The coffee was just mid they got my order wrong when we were the only ones in the shop. They also forgot to give me the croissant I ordered. The atmosphere is ok but not really worth it.

I feel like their food items were not visible on their menu when I was there, but I still inquired of their availability. I have enjoyed this place a couple times now and have not been disappointed.
