My grandfather took us to the original location when we were kids in the 80’s. You traded history and LEGACY for neon trash. The girl that took my payment was understanding and sympathetic over my disappointment.
Your need to “upgrade” isn’t the actual reason for the 1 although it should be. The new location with the fancy this and that where I verified the order still made my order wrong. They forgot the green sauce. And it ruins the meal everytime- it’s been 8 months since I had Taco Bell at another location…this was my first time back in Scottsdale since it opened. I live more than 30 minutes away and drive Lyft so this is the last visit to this location. The disappointment of the location matched the disappointment of the food.
Your crew is very hospitable though, super friendly.

Never seen a Taco Bell with more workers and less work getting done like it takes all six of the people back there to make one burrito this is the slowest Taco Bell I've ever ever experienced in its absurd because they just built it it's gorgeous but the way they built the kitchen so that no one is paying any attention to the front of house at all no one notices you're here the only thing anybody cares about is the freaking drive through is so dumb

Chalupa shells were crunchy and fell apart. The $7 chicken cantina quesadilla was horrible and not worth the money.

The only good taco bell in my opinion. They still mess up half the order and reports of vagrants are accurate
They get beef and bean burritos mixed up a LOT

Not going to lie it was different going inside and ordering through a machine - harder to find and custom things but once we figured it out it was all easy peasy ..... We went inside to see the new store all shiny and bright and had a great experience

After coming here repeatedly, I have come to find that, Sadly, this Taco Ball is simply NOT SAFE. It has become the congregating location for McDowell’s homeless, who buy the cheapest thing on the menu so they can subvert loitering laws and spend the day in the air conditioning while filling up jugs of water from the drink machine. They pile up their multiple bags of belongings around the restaurant, wash in the bathroom, are regularly half-clothed, and tragically often have poorly taken care of dogs in tow. Guarantee that you’re going to be hit up for a donation as part of the process. I simply would never bring my family here.

This place needs more people working the night shift. They make the drive tru orders first an just continue to receive DoorDash orders. Lobby full of door dashers just waiting

This location has always had issues providing consistent products. The new building didn’t make it better, just more inefficient. Employees have to walk further, the processes seem experimental. Two drive through lanes to order, one to exit. No way to exit if another car is in front of you, you have your food, they don’t, you have to wait until they are served to exit. Really stupid. Employees didn’t seem to engage with decision but more like robots that couldn’t answer a simple question. Taco Bell cost too much now to deal with nonsense.

Honestly so upset we got rid of our great old Taco Bell for this new one. The food is so much drier than the old one, no one knows what they’re doing, orders keep getting mixed up, and the manager genuinely acts like he has no clue what to do
