Food is good but the ladies who take your order are horrible. They are rude and make you feel like they are giving you free food. If you ask them for anything is like you’re asking them for the entire world.

This Mexican restaurant/ taco shop is incredible, it’s definitely one of the best ones in the area, you’d have to go more into Phoenix to find similar authentic Mexican food! The staff is super friendly and they are very outgoing, very polite and since coming here for many years I noticed they still have the same. Next to the restaurant there is also a Mexican slushy shop, which is awesome. I highly recommend it as well.

This cozy spot serves up tasty food that really hit the spot. Prices felt a bit high, but not enough to take away from the experience. It’s a good choice for a quick Mexican lunch if you’re in Scottsdale or Tempe.

Caldo 7 Mares was no good. They put imitation crab meat when it’s pictured with real crab legs. They burnt the telera bread I ordered for the caldo horribly, one side was so black I couldn’t even pick around it. I had to send it back. Tacos are mediocre and small. Spent a good $36 and threw most of it away.

Cashiers are absolute trash. Bad attitude and messed up my order, and proceeded to roll their eyes when i brought it to their attention. And overheard a conversation where they were disrespecting the cooks. DO BETTER

Absolutely banger tripa tacos. I don’t know what constitutes ‘legit’ Mexican food, I mean, look at my name it’s as bland as a cucumber sandwich sans mayonnaise, but the taco platter I got was deadly with a capital D. 11/10 would eat there again if I found myself in the cultural morass that is Scottsdale Arizona.

I have been going to this restaurant for the past few years, on 6/20 my bf & I ordered the #3 & 4 tacos. We called the next day due to us throwing up the food & we asked for a refund. The manager Brenda told me to go in the night-time to get my cash refund. Why I don’t understand why, but she did explain saying because the morning shift employees wouldn’t know since the night shift employees were the one who assisted us. But if you guys all work together, then I don’t understand why they can’t all communicate with one another?
Any who, I went in the night-time as she specifically said over the phone. When I got there, this young brown skinned lady had no clue about a refund since they failed to notify her. So she called Brenda the manager over the phone, & the manager was trying to lie saying she told me to go in the day time which wasn’t true at all. So we were going back & forth as to why she had said prior to when I called to go in the night. Anywho, they were going to give me a cash refund of $22 something & I was a bit taken-back as to why I was getting a shorter amount then what I paid for since they did charge my card $45.51 so when I asked the employee why? She stated because I got the #3 & 3 tacos & I told her No, I got the #3 & 4 tacos. So when she was inputting the meal on her system it was giving her the $22 (I don’t recall the exact amount but it was around $20 something) so I asked her did you guys overcharge me because on my end it’s showing that you guys charged me $45.51 so she was going back & forth with the manager Brenda.
Brenda then proceeded to tell her, that if she finds my receipt & if it says the amount that the cashier got she will only give me that amount back. Which I found hilarious because I was explaining to them that they literally charged me a different amount. So to save us the hassle, I informed they can either give me the correct refund back OR I will dispute it through my bank. After I said that, Brenda decided to look for the receipt & I was CORRECT about the amount. So after 20 minutes of going back & forth with them, they gave me my correct refund amount & they did say they OVERCHARGED ME.
So to anyone who goes here, please make sure they are charging you the correct amount. For the chefs & other employee who was pale & had black hair looking at me like I was lying & had the face of mamonas. I definitely wasn’t lying :)
