This was our second visit to Tapas Papa Frita in Old Town Scottsdale. We brought a friend who had never been there before. Our second visit was equally excellent to our first about one year ago. We had a wonderful experience at Tapas Fridas! The food was absolutely delicious, we shared several tapas-style dishes, including the lamb chops, ahi tuna, and bacon-wrapped stuffed dates, and every bite was exceptional. We finished with a flavorful, perfectly cooked paella that was the highlight of the night.

This restaurant is beautiful and you can enjoy the flamenco dancing. However, the lack of sound boards makes the place extremely loud. To talk, you have to shout. We couldn't hear the guitar playing from where we were seated. The food was very good but on the salty side. Service was ok for the number of people they were serving. Overall, we had a good time.
